Roman Reigns vs. Edge – 2021 WWE Money in the Bank

| July 16, 2021 3:05 am PDT

Edge was supposed to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37, but Daniel Bryan joined the match, and it was a triple threat clash for the WWE Universal Championship.

Reigns retained the belt, while Edge was out of the picture for a while. The contender then returned to demand once again his title shot, and he was given another opportunity.

The two stars will meet at WWE Money in the Bank 2021, and I share my thoughts on the fight in this Roman Reigns vs. Edge betting preview. I’ve also included the latest odds for the clash, info on the feud as a whole, my prediction, and a free betting pick to wrap it all up.

The Roman Reigns vs. Edge betting odds I’ve used are courtesy of, one of the best sportsbooks for wrestling. The champion is a huge favorite for this clash, and everyone expects a win in his favor, it seems. Let’s try to understand why.

Roman Reigns vs. Edge Feud Analysis

I’m not sure where to start with this one, but probably Edge’s return to pro wrestling is the best entry point. The veteran was out for nine years because of an injury, and his return was truly shocking.

The fans loved it, and Edge has been a nice on-and-off addition to the WWE roster. I thought that the organization was pushing him to a title at WrestleMania 2021, but the arrival of Daniel Bryan changed the direction of the match.

Edge was then away for two months, and I honestly thought this one was done and dusted. I’m not sure what to expect from the fight, and the logical choice would be to keep the veteran away from the title because of his part-time role.

On top of that, Seth Rollins was about to challenge Roman Reigns for the title, so I won’t be shocked if he appears at WWE Money in the Bank. We know that the Usos are always ready to help their cousin too, so it might be a huge mess.

Roman Reigns vs. Edge Prediction and Betting Pick

The logical prediction here would be to back Roman Reigns to retain his title. And yet, the odds for him are way too low, and I expect a chaotic encounter.

The likes of Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, and the Usos could all play a role in this match. With so many wrestlers potentially involved, anything is possible. The price for Edge to end up as a winner is too lucrative, and that’s my final pick. I recommend a low wager if you decide to follow me here, though.
