It’s time for the penultimate round of the Premier League. Round 37 kicks off on Sunday, May 15, with seven matches, some of which may prove crucial for the teams involved.

Manchester City, for example, has a chance to make one giant leap toward securing the title. Tottenham continues its race for a top 4 finish, while Everton, Burnley, and Leeds keep fighting relegation.

Knowing that there’s so much at stake, one thing is clear – soccer fans are in for plenty of excitement on Sunday.

Tottenham vs. Burnley Prediction

Thanks to their superb run over the last couple of weeks, the Spurs are now just one point behind Arsenal. Their goal is to overtake the #4 position from the Gunners, as it would mean booking a ticket to the Champions League.

Qualifying for the UCL means getting $17.74 million from the UEFA, which is something the Spurs could use to strengthen their squad. To do that, they need to continue playing well.

Luckily for them, their next two opponents are Burnley and already-relegated Norwich. Meanwhile, Arsenal has a tougher job on its hands – the Gunners play Newcastle and Everton in the remainder of the season.

That said, winning the remaining two games is on Tottenham’s agenda. The Spurs have the manpower, as the motivation to do it. Plus, on Sunday, they’re playing on their turf and with the help of their fans, they should be able to beat Burnley easily.

West Ham vs. Manchester City Prediction

West Ham is a force to be reckoned with, as evident from the fact that this team still has a chance to finish in the top 6. The trouble is that in Matchweek 37, the Hammers are taking on Manchester City.

Priced at 1.38, Pep Guardiola’s men are heavily favored to win on Sunday. The reason behind this is that a win over West Ham could potentially mean securing the title.

As they got three points more than Liverpool (as well as a better score difference), the Citizens would take one giant step closer to the EPL title by winning on Sunday.

Apart from being motivated to win, Manchester City players have another advantage over West Ham. These guys have been in a terrific form in the Prem with five straight wins, in which they scored 22 goals while conceding just two.

Wolves vs. Norwich Prediction

Norwich is going to play in the Championship next season. This team is at the bottom of the table with just 21 points after 36 matches. The worst thing is that the Canaries are in a horrible run with five straight defeats in the Prem. Knowing all this, it’s clear why Wolves are strong favorites in the eyes of bookmakers.

The reason why the odds on Wolves aren’t even shorter is that this team’s been in a pretty disappointing form lately with just one point collected from the previous five EPL matches.

Nevertheless, they definitely stand a good chance of putting an end to the poor run. In fact, anything but an easy win over Norwich would come as a huge shock.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace Prediction

Now here’s a match in which online sportsbooks expect to see a real battle on the pitch. Crystal Palace has only one point more than Aston Villa and is sitting in the #11 place.

Neither team can move up too much, regardless of what happens in this game. At the same time, neither team should worry about dropping down too much. In fact, the lowest position in which either of these teams can finish is #15.

This, of course, doesn’t mean their players aren’t going to be motivated on Sunday. On the contrary, the players from both squads seem to be loving their life right now, as evident from their recent form.

Aston Villa went 2-0-1 in the previous three games, with its only defeat happening against Liverpool. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is coming to Birmingham after back-to-back wins.

Knowing all this, we could see a lot of goals at Villa Park on Sunday. But who’s going to win? I say no one! This game looks destined for a draw.

Leeds vs. Brighton Prediction

After three straight losses, Leeds dropped down into the relegation zone. One would say that they can only blame themselves, but the truth is that their schedule was horrible. The teams they lost to are, namely, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Knowing this, no one should write off Leeds too soon. This team’s players deserve to play in the English top flight. Some of them were struggling with injuries in the past, but now, it seems most of them are 100% fit and ready to go.

Kalvin Phillips who was out for nearly three months is back and is starting to play great soccer. Patrick Bamford, however, still hasn’t returned, although there are some rumors that he might do so on Sunday.

Beating Brighton isn’t going to be easy, especially knowing that the Seagulls have been in top shape lately. Still, with the help of their fans, motivated Leeds should be able to grab all three points.

Watford vs. Leicester City Prediction

Watford is already relegated, meaning that this team has no motivation coming into Sunday’s game. Truth be told, Leicester City players probably aren’t going to be too motivated either. Still, the Foxes do have a chance to improve their standing in the Premier League, albeit only slightly.

Leicester City is in the #10 position right now, but with a bit of luck, they could get two spots higher. Although it’s not only up to them, they simply need to do all they can for that scenario to play out.

This goes especially for the fact that their next game is against one of the worst teams in the league. What this means is that winning on Sunday is a must.

Everton vs. Brentford Prediction

Whatever happens in the remainder of the season, Brentford will not get relegated. The same, however, doesn’t apply to Everton.

There’s still a risk that the Toffees could get relegated from the Premier League for the first time in history. It’s because they got only two points more than Leeds, the closest team from the relegation zone.

On the bright side for Everton, they got three more games to play this season, while Leeds have only two. Plus, Everton’s fixture list doesn’t seem too ugly. Sure, they got Arsenal to play in the final round, but that game might not have any importance for them if they win on Sunday.
