EPL Predictions and Top Betting Tips for Round 29 Games on Saturday, March 12

We’re just 10 weeks away from the end of the 2021-22 Premier League and things are starting to get serious. There are several battles being led in this competition, including the one for the title, the one for the Champions League, and the battle to avoid relegation.

That said, the EPL is going to get even more exciting in near future. In fact, we’re going to see some real barnburners in Round 29, including all three games scheduled for Saturday, March 12. The games in question are:

I will now analyze these three matches and share my top Premier League predictions. If this sounds good, let’s start with the safest bet of them all – Liverpool to win.

This is a must-win game for Liverpool. Why? Because only if the Reds keep on winning will they have a chance to get ahold of their second title in the Premier League era. The thing is that ahead of Round 29, they have six points fewer than Manchester City, with one game in hand.

That said, Liverpool’s chance of getting to the top of the Premier League standings isn’t too bad. The trouble is that their fixture list looks really ugly, which explains why soccer betting sites are giving 3.50 on Liverpool to win the title.

Liverpool will have to play against some tough teams in the remaining 11 games. The game against Brighton looks like one of the easier fixtures and they need to advantage of that. If the Reds failed to win it on Saturday, they’d put themselves in a very nasty situation. But they’re not going to fail. Not only do they have much better players, but they’re also playing fantastic soccer lately.

The same doesn’t apply to Brighton. The Seagulls lost each of their previous four EPL games, despite being the betting favorite in three of those. They scored only one goal in those four matches. It happened last Saturday against Newcastle when they lost 2-1.

Avoiding relegation is the main goal for this season for both Brentford and Burnley. Ahead of Round 29, Brentford is in a safe spot, Burnley isn’t. With 27 points, Brentford is currently in the #15 position in the EPL standings with six points more than Burnley, which is stuck in the relegation zone.

However, Burnley has played two games fewer than most EPL teams, Brentford included. What this means is that the Clarets’ chances of staying up are not so bad. Of course, to stay in the Prem for another season, they need to get back on the winning track.

Unfortunately for Burnley’s fans, this team’s form has plummeted after a pretty decent run in February. As a reminder, Burnley collected nine points from the six Premier League games played that month. However, so far in March, this team knows only of losses.

Is it time for Burnley to win some points? I sure think so. They got the manpower to do it, although it’s not going to be easy as Brentford tends to do very well at home. At Brentford Community Stadium in West London, the Bees have already beaten some big teams this season, including Arsenal (2-0) and Aston Villa (2-1), while also playing a draw with Liverpool (3-3).

The Red Devils suffered one of the heaviest defeats in the club history the last time they played against the Spurs at Old Trafford – the score was 6-1 for the visiting team.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, but does Manchester United have what it takes to inflict a blowout defeat to Tottenham? Probably not. Sure, this team’s roster is packed with amazing players, but some of them could miss Saturday’s game.

One of those is Cristiano Ronaldo, who is reportedly still struggling with a hip injury. The same was the reason why he had to miss last Sunday’s Manchester Derby, which City won 4-1.

Nevertheless, even without its arguably biggest star, Manchester United is expected to put on a good fight on Saturday. The Red Devils need points if they wish to keep their Champions League dream alive. To book the ticket to the elite continental competition, they need to finish in the EPL top 4. Right now, they’re fifth, but with just two points fewer than the team that’s above them (Arsenal).

The bad news for the Red Devils is that they’ve played more games than most other teams in the league, Tottenham included. The Spurs have two points fewer than Manchester United. However, they’ve also played two games less.

So, if they don’t lose on Saturday, they will have a good chance to leapfrog the Red Devils in near future. And that seems like good enough of a motivation for Antonio Conte’s boys to give their utmost.
