EPL Round 25 Predictions and Betting Picks for Sunday, February 13

If you’re thinking about doing some Premier League betting this Sunday, I’m here to help you choose the best bets. In this preview, I will cover all four Round 25 games scheduled for February 13, 2022.
The games I will analyze are the following:
- Burnley vs. Liverpool
- Newcastle vs. Aston Villa
- Tottenham vs. Wolves
- Leicester City vs. West Ham
Apart from previewing the games and providing my predictions, I will also show you which EPL bets I’m planning to make on Sunday. If all this sounds good, let’s start!
Liverpool to Beat Burnley
More than 100 days have passed since we saw Burnley win a game the last time. Since October 30, when the Clarets beat Brentford, this team has lost four games in all competitions, while playing a draw seven times.
At a first glance, this run may seem horrible. However, Burnley did pull off a couple of impressive feats along the way. For instance, this club snatched a point off such heavyweights as Manchester United, Arsenal, West Ham, and Chelsea during that period.
Can the Clarets get a point from their next game as well? Highly unlikely, as they’re taking on the in-form Liverpool, a team that has title ambitions. Ahead of Round 25, Liverpool is trailing behind Manchester City by nine points.

Overtaking the #1 position from the Sky Blues seems like a very challenging task for the Reds. However, there’s one thing going in favor of Jurgen Klopp’s boys. Liverpool has played one EPL game fewer than Man City, meaning that there’s a good chance for the Reds to narrow the gap even further.
The plan is simple – Liverpool just needs to continue winning and hope for Pep Guardiola’s team to slip.
The good news for Liverpool is that its Premier League schedule doesn’t seem too ugly. The Reds have a couple of winnable games ahead, starting with the one against Burnley.
Newcastle and Aston Villa to Draw
Newcastle continues its relegation battle on Sunday against Aston Villa. For the Villans, relegation is not an option, but neither is a place near the top. Instead, finishing the season somewhere in the middle would be more than acceptable for steven Gerard and his boys. Ahead of Round 25, Aston Villa is on the right road to achieving that goal.
It’s a bit different story when it comes to Newcastle. A few months ago, the club was purchased by a Saudi Arabian consortium whose intention was to turn Newcastle into a new Man City. However, things aren’t currently going according to the plan.
After 22 games played, Newcastle has only 18 points, which puts the Magpies just one spot off the relegation zone. The good news is that this team’s form has improved massively over the last couple of weeks.
In fact, Newcastle is without a loss in the previous four EPL rounds, coming off back-to-back wins. The explanation behind their sudden revival is that the club’s owners splashed a lot of money on signings during the winter transfer window. Some of the players Newcastle signed in January include:
- Kieran Trippier (from Atletico Madrid)
- Bruno Guimaraes (from Lyon)
- Matt Target (from Aston Villa)
- Chris Wood (from Burnley)
- Dan Burn (from Brighton)
Those guys have slotted perfectly into Newcastle’s roster straight away. Trippier is probably the best example, whom we saw score once in his team’s win over Everton mid-week.
Unfortunately, in the same game, the wing-back suffered a calf injury. As a result, Trippier could be forced to miss out on Sunday’s action. Without him in the squad, Newcastle is likely to struggle, although getting one point off this game doesn’t seem too farfetched.
Wolves to Beat Tottenham
For some reason, some soccer betting sites are giving 1.60 on Tottenham winning. I think Wolves deserve more respect.
Sure, Tottenham is in the race for Top 4, with some superb players on the roster and a manager with an impressive trophy cabinet. Still, Wolves have shown the world they’re a force to be reckoned with on many occasions this season.
A good example is their performance in their first Premier League game of the year. The venue was Old Trafford, and the opponent was Manchester United, but that didn’t scare Wolves. Instead, they went onto the pitch and got themselves a 1-0 win.
Beating Man United on the road isn’t a glitch in the Wolves matrix. On the contrary, this team has been fantastic in away games this season, with 20 points collected from 11 matches. In comparison, Tottenham has won 22 points at home.
Furthermore, Wolves have a pretty decent record when playing against the Spurs in London. The visitors won in two of the previous three Tottenham vs. Wolves games played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
West Ham to Beat Leicester City
Leicester City will be without its arguably best player in Sunday’s game. The man in question is Jamie Vardy, the Foxes’ top-scorer in the Premier League this season. The striker’s been out since the start of the year due to a thigh injury.
In his absence, his teammates have been struggling to find the net. In the previous four games in all competitions, Leicester players put away only four goals. Is this something that should worry the Foxes ahead of the West Ham game? Definitely!
West Ham is a team that’s not easy to score against. So far, this team’s conceded 31 goals in 24 games. That’s 1.29 goals per game on average, which makes West Ham a top 7 defense.
When it comes to scoring, this team’s average is 1.75, which is better than 16 other EPL teams, including Leicester which is stuck at 1.62.
As a result of their fine performances throughout the season, the Hammers are currently flying high in the Prem. Ahead of Round 25, they’re sitting in the #4 position. Unfortunately, due to two poor results in January – losses to Leeds and Manchester United – this team’s position in the top 4 is in jeopardy.
On the bright side, West Ham is back on the winning track. Four days before the clash with Leicester City, West Ham defeated Watford 1-0.
