Top Premier League Betting Picks for Round 10 – Saturday, October 30

| October 29, 2021 7:29 am PDT

The previous round of the Premier League was truly awesome but this one has the potential to outshine it. This goes especially for Round 10 games taking place on Saturday.

There are seven of them on the program, including some fierce rivalries. I will now preview the most interesting ones, as well as share my betting predictions. Let’s start!

Leicester City to Beat Arsenal

Both teams are without a single loss in October, but I feel the good run might come to an end for one of those. The team I think will suffer a defeat is Arsenal.

There are several reasons why I think that, starting with the fact that the Gunners have some serious fitness concerns. Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka is definitely out with an ankle injury, while there are four other players who remain doubtful, namely:

  • Ben White (center-back)
  • Pablo Mari (center-back)
  • Kieran Tierney (center back)
  • Martin Odegaard (midfielder)

It’s possible that some of these guys will make an appearance on Saturday, but they probably aren’t going to be at their best. And Arsenal really needs them to play their best soccer.

It’s because Leicester City has been fantastic lately, especially in the offense. The Foxes have scored 15 goals in the five games they played this month.

Tottenham to Beat Manchester United

This could be the very last game with Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer as the Manchester United boss. In fact, it’s surprising that he still has his job after getting obliterated 5-0 by Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend.

It seems that anything but a big win for Manchester United on Saturday would result in Solskjaer getting the sack. Actually, even such a scenario would not take him out of the hot seat.

The thing is that the 5-0 loss was just one in a series of poor results by the Red Devils. This team lost five of the past ten games in all competitions. What’s even worst is that even in the games they won, they had to work really hard for it.

Truth be told, the Spurs have been having similar problems. However, in the case of Tottenham, it seems that the form of their key players is on the rise.

The man in the focus is the Spurs’ captain Harry Kane. The scoring leader in the previous Premier League season has scored only one goal in the 2021-22 campaign. The good news for Tottenham fans is that the goal in question happened relatively recently – two rounds ago against Newcastle in an away game.

Another good news for Tottenham faithful is that Kane seems to hold the key to breaking Man United’s defense. The guy scored two goals against the Red Devils last season in Tottenham’s 6-1 win.

Picks for the Other Five Premier League Games on Saturday

  • Liverpool to Beat Brighton
  • Manchester City to Beat Crystal Palace
  • Chelsea to Beat Newcastle
  • Burnley and Brentford to Draw
  • Watford and Southampton to Draw

Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea – these three are as sure as betting picks can be. I know this, but so do the bookies. That’s why the odds on these bets aren’t that great.

Actually, even if you parlay these at MyBookie.ag, the odds are just 1.93. It might not be too bad, but if you’re on the lookout for more attractive odds, you better go with a draw in Burnley vs Brentford and Watford vs Southampton.

The odds are good (over 3.00 for each), although experience has taught me that you can never know with these sorts of games.

If you’re looking for better picks with higher odds, the next section is for you.

Best Premier League Picks for Saturday’s Round 10 Action

Leicester City to Beat Arsenal2.40
Tottenham to Beat Manchester United2.87

Leicester City is my favorite soccer bet of the entire weekend. I can see the Foxes having a field day on Saturday, which is why I’m a bit surprised that the odds are so long.

I also believe Tottenham will be the team that ends Solskjaer’s reign in Manchester. Oddsmakers, however, disagree with me on this one. They believe it’s Manchester United who should be thought of as the favorite.

If you’re worried that might be the case, I got an alternative for you. Instead of betting on the game outcome, why not bet on player performances?

I’m pretty confident we will see Harry Kane scoring at least one goal on the match, for which the odds should be around 2.50.

So, my top advice for you is to go find a top soccer betting site that has this market on offer and back the Tottenham captain to score anytime!
