Predictions and Picks for La Liga Round 32 (April 15-18, 2022)

It’s safe to say that Real Madrid already has one hand on the La Liga title. With just seven games remaining this season, Los Blancos find themselves 12 points clear of second-place Barcelona.
Still, the top four race is far from finished. There are only six points between second and sixth, meaning five teams are in contention for the three remaining Champions League spots.
My Round 32 La Liga predictions are centered around teams at the top end of the La Liga standings. You can find the rest of my predictions towards the end of this post, along with my Round 32 La Liga picks.
La Liga Odds and Fixtures for Round 32
- Real Sociedad (2.15) vs. Real Betis (3.40)
- Elche (2.70) vs. Mallorca (2.87)
- Alaves (2.70) vs. Rayo Vallecano (2.80)
- Valencia (2.10) vs. Osasuna (3.75)
- Getafe (3.10) vs. Villarreal (2.40)
- Granada (2.37) vs. Levante (2.90)
- Atletico Madrid (1.44) vs. Espanyol (8.00)
- Athletic Bilbao (1.87) vs. Celta Vigo (4.33)
- Sevilla (2.90) vs. Real Madrid (2.50)
- Barcelona (1.22) vs. Cadiz (13.00)
Only two sides are favored to win away from home in Round 32 – Villarreal and Real Madrid. Even so, they won’t find life easy. While Villarreal travels to Getafe, Real Madrid faces third-place Sevilla.
Elsewhere, Barcelona hosts Cadiz, while Espanyol visits Atletico Madrid. There are also crucial clashes for Alaves, Levante, and the other sides battling to avoid relegation.
It’s time to get stuck into my predictions for La Liga Round 32.
Atletico Madrid to Beat Espanyol
Atletico Madrid suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Mallorca last weekend. Still, Diego Simeone’s men remain on course to secure a top-four finish after piecing together a six-game winning streak between mid-February and early April.
Since the turn of the year, Atletico has picked up nine victories in 13 La Liga outings. They have also scored over 1.5 goals on ten occasions in 2022, highlighting their attacking threat.
I’m confident that Simeone’s men will notch their seventh victory in eight La Liga games this weekend.
Sevilla and Real Madrid to Draw
Fresh from reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, Real Madrid will be confident of beating anyone. Los Blancos claimed an epic 5-4 aggregate victory over Chelsea on Tuesday, despite losing 3-2 on the night.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men have won six of their past seven La Liga games. Better still, they have lost just two of their previous 23. Thanks to the deadly duo of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior, they have all but wrapped up the title.
It is worth noting that Sevilla has registered seven draws across the past 11 rounds. With that in mind, I can see Lopetegui’s boys holding a tired Real Madrid team to a draw.
Barcelona to Beat Cadiz
Can anyone stop Barcelona?
Not only have the Catalans won their last seven La Liga games, but they have also avoided defeat in each of their previous 15. If it weren’t for a slow start to the season, they would be challenging Real Madrid for the title.
Anything other than a comfortable Barcelona win would be a massive shock here.
More La Liga Round 32 Predictions
- Real Sociedad and Real Betis
- Mallorca to Beat Elche
- Rayo Vallecano to Beat Alaves
- Valencia to Beat Osasuna
- Villarreal to Beat Getafe
- Granada and Levante to Draw
- Athletic Bilbao to Beat Celta Vigo
I’m backing Mallorca, Rayo Vallecano, and Villarreal to secure road victories in Round 32. Elsewhere, I’m confident that Valencia and Athletico Bilbao will register home wins against Osasuna and Celta Vigo, respectively.
I can see both Real Sociedad vs. Real Betis and Granada vs. Levante ending in a draw. Sixth-place Sociedad and fifth-place Betis are separated by just two points, while Granada and Levante are both struggling at the bottom end of the La Liga standings.
Top La Liga Picks for Round 32
Valencia heads into Round 32 on a six-game unbeaten streak. Given that Osasuna has suffered two losses across the past four rounds, odds of 2.10 for Valencia to beat Osasuna are certainly worth taking advantage of.
This season, both teams have scored in 19 of Granada’s 31 games (61%). As for Levante, both teams have scored in 52% of their clashes. The BTTS wager is definitely the best bet for that clash.
