The battle for the NFC East title continues in Week 10, as the Philadelphia Eagles head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants for the second time this season.

Just three weeks ago, the Eagles beat the Giants 22-21 as 5-point home favorites, overcoming an 11-point deficit in the last six minutes of the fourth quarter.

I expect to see another dramatic battle between these two divisional foes, so here’s my best Eagles vs. Giants betting pick for Week 10.

Eagles vs. Giants Odds

Eagles -3.5-105
Giants +3.5-115
Eagles to Win-180
Giants to Win+160
Over 44.0-110
Under 44.0-110

The Giants are without their best player, as Saquon Barkley finished the season with a knee injury. The Eagles have had some serious injury problems, too, but RB Miles Sanders and WR Alshon Jeffery should return in Week 10.

Therefore, the Eagles opened as 3.5-point road favorites on Bovada Sportsbook even though they barely outlasted the Giants on the road just a few weeks ago.

Philadelphia Eagles Analysis

The Eagles are coming off a bye, topping the NFC East with a 3-4-1 record. They won two straight contests, easily defeating the Dallas Cowboys 23-9 at home following that narrow victory over the Giants in Week 7.

Carson Wentz had another problematic game against the Cowboys, tossing for only 123 yards and a couple of touchdowns and interceptions. The 27-year-old signal-caller leads the NFL with 12 interceptions, and the Giants picked off him once in Week 7.

However, Wentz was terrific against the Giants last time out. He threw for 359 yards and a couple of scores that both came late in the fourth quarter when the Eagles were outcoming a 21-10 deficit.

Keep your eyes on the second-year wideout Travis Fulgham who has 29 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns this season. Fulgham posted at least 73 receiving yards in each of his previous three outings.

The Eagles are scoring 23.3 points per game (24th in the NFL) while surrendering 25.6 in a return (18th).

New York Giants Analysis

The Giants are coming off a huge 23-20 road victory over Washington in Week 9. They improved to 2-7 on the season, beating the former Redskins for the second time this term.

New York stormed the front and built a 20-3 lead until the break. However, the Giants played poorly down the stretch once again and nearly blew a massive lead.

Of course, there were some positives. Daniel Jones didn’t turn the ball over for the first time this season. He has nine interceptions and four fumbles lost through the first nine weeks.

Furthermore, the Giants’ defense put on another terrific performance. They forced five turnovers including three interceptions. New York is yielding 24.3 points per game (13th in the league) while recording 22 sacks (9th) and defending 47.2% of the opponents’ red-zone attempts (5th).

Without Saquon Barkley, the Giants are surprisingly racking up 106.0 rushing yards per game (21st). They are tallying only 18.7 points per game (31st), as Daniel Jones is having a nightmare season. The 23-year-old quarterback has a horrible 8:9 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

Eagles vs. Giants Pick

  • New York Giants +3.5

On paper, the Eagles are a better team in this matchup, especially with Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery back on the field. Also, if you like to follow betting trends, the Eagles are your team at moneyline odds.

Phila is undefeated in eight straight meetings with the Giants. Since 2014, the Eagles have won 12 of their 13 matchups with the Giants, covering seven times in the process.

However, the Eagles are only 2-5 ATS in the previous seven games against the Giants, and I think the hosts will keep it close in this one.

New York forced five turnovers against Washington and will look to stay on the right path against Carson Wentz who’s been turning the ball a lot lately. Furthermore, the Giants’ playoff hopes will be pretty much alive with an eventual win here, so I’m backing the hosts to cover.
