Parx Racing Picks – Tuesday, November 10, 2020

Parx Racing offers mostly claiming races on its ten-race card for Tuesday, although there are a couple of maiden and allowance matches to spice up the action.
If you’re in the vicinity, remember that Parx permits spectators, and if you attend you can expect partly cloudy skies, highs in the lower 70s, a slight chance of rain, and winds around eight mph.
Read on for my Parx Racing picks and betting tips for Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
Pick for Parx Racing Race 1
This is a maiden special weight race for two-year-old fillies running a distance of one mile and 70 yards for a purse of $40,000.
I think this race will be between the morning line’s top two choices, but my money is on the 9/5 favorite, Peyton Elizabeth, with Frankie Pennington in the irons. This filly moneyed both of her two career starts with a second and a third at Parx in September and October, respectively.
The longest odds in this six-horse race are 8/1, and frankly, it would take 20/1 or longer odds to get me to risk a wager on that horse in this particular field.
- Win: Peyton Elizabeth 9/5
Picks for Parx Racing Race 8
This is a starter allowance race for three-year-olds and upward running a distance of 5-1/2 furlongs for a purse of $27,000.
I like the second-favored (5/2) entry for this race — Bodeflex, with Mychel Sanchez aboard. His record of four career starts got off to a bumpy beginning with a fifth-place finish back in 2019, but he immediately righted himself and won his next three. He’s on a roll.
There are several 20/1 longshots in this race, but the one I think has a sincere chance of finishing in the money is Babbo Babbo Babbo, ridden by Luis M. Ocasio. This four-year-old gelding moneyed two of his three career starts, his latest (in October) a win. Show bet only.
- Win: Bodeflex 5/2
- Show: Babbo Babbo Babbo 20/1
Pick for Parx Racing Race 9
This is an allowance race for fillies and mares three years old and upward running a distance of one mile and 70 yards for a purse of $40,000.
I’m going with the second-favored (7/2) entry here — Ellarella, ridden by Angel R. Rodriguez. This four-year-old filly moneyed two of her three career starts, winning one.
The longest odds in this race are 15/1 (M/L tagged three with those odds), and I’m sorry to say none of them appears likely to finish in the money.
- Win: Ellarella 7/2
