New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting – NFL Week 8, 2020

The New York Giants will be trying to bounce back from a tight defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, but are absolute underdogs when they travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although they didn’t deserve to lose some of the games this season, the Giants lost six already and dropped to a 1-6 record in the NFC East.
On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers responded to a narrow loss to the Chicago Bears with a couple of massive victories over the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders, scoring even 83 points in the process.
The Bucs now improved to a 5-2 record and are at the top of the NFC South with a win ahead of the New Orleans Saints. Take a look at my Giants vs. Buccaneers betting prediction.

Giants Fell Short to Philadelphia on the Road
The New York Giants were close to record the second win of the season and second straight as they had a 21-10 lead late in the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, they allowed a pair of touchdowns in just four minutes and suffered a 22-21 defeat in the end. New York committed three turnovers opposite Philadelphia’s one and had ten first downs fewer than the hosts (17-27), so this loss was a deserved one.
Daniel Jones completed 20 of 30 passes for 187 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, while he also led all the rushers with 92 yards on four carries, including the career-long 80-yard run. He connected with Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate in the endzone, while Wayne Gallman had 34 yards and a TD on ten rushing attempts. Blake Martinez was the top defender in terms of tackles as finished the tilt with nine (seven solos).
The Giants are the 31st team in the NFL when it comes to the offense with 17.4 points per game, 30th in passing yards (184.3), 27th in rushing yards (98.1), while they have the 14th defense that allows 24.9 points per contest.
Buccaneers Scored Season-high 45 Points Against Raiders
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the hottest offenses at the moment, which they proved in the latest 45-20 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders. They only trailed 7-0 at the start of the game but controlled the tilt since and scored even 21 points in the final 15 minutes. Actually, the Bucs needed only a bit more than four minutes to do it in the fourth quarter. Tampa had an error-free game and recorded 29 first downs opposite Las Vegas’19.
Tom Brady completed 33 of 45 passes for four touchdowns and no interception in his best display since he moved to the Buccaneers this season. Brady connected with four different receivers in the endzone: Scotty Miller, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, and Tyler Johnson, and added a rushing touchdown along the way.
Miller led all the receivers with 109 yards on six catches, while Godwin added 88 on nine receptions. Ronald Jones II scored a rushing TD, but Leonard Fournette led the team in rushing with 50 yards on 11 attempts. Devin White had a monstrous game on defense as he recorded 11 tackles (nine solos) and career-high three sacks.
The Buccaneers are the 3rd team in the NFL when it comes to the offense with 31.7 points per game, 8th in passing yards (266.1), 19th in rushing yards (105.7), while they have the 8th defense that allows 20.3 points per contest.
Giants vs. Buccaneers Pick
Although the Giants evidently improved in the last couple of weeks, they are still making a lot of mistakes, especially on offense, and that is not going to go against the top 10 defense, such as the Buccaneers’. Despite the fact that he has some excellent receivers such as Tate, Shepard, and Engram, Daniel Jones is struggling at QB, and I don’t think he will be better on Monday.
On the other hand, Tom Brady is playing like he’s 25, and his offensive line is keeping him secured in the pocket, so I am backing Brady and the Bucs to dismantle the Giants.
