Predictions and Expert NBA Picks for Friday, February 11, 2022

The NBA trade deadline passed and left a crater in The Association. You’ll see that with one look at Anthony Haage’s 2022 NBA trade deadline winners and losers breakdown.
James Harden was the biggest piece on the move, and that deal will be felt instantly with the Philadelphia 76ers in action tonight. They’re just one of 12 NBA teams looking to get a win on Friday, and if you’re searching for NBA picks today, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ll take a look at the early NBA odds, and also hand out my predictions for every game, and wrap things up with my best NBA bets for the slate.
Let’s dive into tonight’s NBA betting slate.
NBA Odds for Friday, February 11th
- Thunder (+12) -105 vs. 76ers (-12) -115
- Hornets (-6.5) -113 vs. Pistons (+6.5) -107
- Nuggets (+6) -112 vs. Celtics (-6) -108
- Spurs (+8) -110 vs. Hawks (-8) -110
- Timberwolves (+3) -110 vs. Bulls (-3) -110
- Magic (+13) -108 vs. Jazz (-13) -112
Friday’s NBA odds are all over the place. The tightest game is at the United Center, where the 34-21 Bulls will try to continue inching toward the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
No other game has a point spread closer than six points on this slate, while two games are at 12+.
One of them has the Sixers likely to destroy the Thunder, even though the freshly acquired James Harden won’t be on hand.
I’m told James Harden is not expected to make Sixers debut tonight or tomorrow night at home
He will be arriving in Philly this weekend and he will be assessed by the Sixers performance staff

I don’t know if I really want to bet on the OKC to beat a 12-point spread, but it’s certainly a little interesting.
Truly, anyone looking to bet on the NBA tonight could be looking at three blowouts, if not more. The early NBA betting lines still offer some wiggle room for bettors, though, as there are some really high totals, and some intriguing moneylines.
Minnesota vs. Chicago offers the highest game total (240.5!) of the slate, while Denver (+195) may be the most compelling NBA upset pick of the night.
Betting against possibly MVP candidate Nikola Jokic is always a dicey proposition, after all.
RPR MVP Predictor, determined by Rolling Player Ratings and team success:
1. Nikola Jokic: 17.44
2. Giannis Antetokounmpo: 15.77
3. Joel Embiid: 15.75
4. LeBron James: 14.58
5. DeMar DeRozan: 13.92
6. Trae Young: 13.86
7. Stephen Curry: 13.8
8. Luka Doncic: 13.45 pic.twitter.com/J5cay8heLu— NBA Math (@NBA_Math) February 11, 2022
An early look at tonight’s NBA odds won’t tell the full story, as there are some injury and trade situations that need to be resolved before you can finalize your bets.
Even so, let’s move on to my NBA predictions for Friday.
Predictions for Friday’s NBA Schedule
- 76ers Over Thunder
- Hornets Over Pistons
- Nuggets Over Celtics
- Hawks Over Spurs
- Bulls Over Timberwolves
- Jazz Over Magic
There undeniably some basketball betting slates where you want to take some shots at some NBA underdog picks. I don’t think Friday’s NBA schedule is one of them.
Utah and Philly feel like slam dunk plays tonight. I’m saying that despite loving Josh Giddey to make you money in Friday’s NBA player props, too.
Those teams are coming in with brutal -1100 and -900 moneylines, though, so if you’re looking for straight up NBA picks that will win you money, you should keep looking.
Pricing and logic has me leaning toward Chicago, of course, as they’re quite good, and they’re at home (19-8 at the United Center this season).
If you want to just bet on NBA moneylines, then my free NBA picks and predictions listed here should suit your fancy. Not everyone wants to bet that way, though, and I have some NBA picks I especially like.
To find out which NBA best bets you should target on Friday, read on.
Best NBA Bets for Friday, 2/11
- Hornets vs. Pistons Over 226.5 (-110)
- Bulls to Win (-150)
- Nuggets to Win (+195)
My best NBA bets for Friday night are Denver and Chicago to win, and I love the Over in the Hornets game. Nick Sterling actually broke down the Bulls game, so be sure to take a look at his Timberwolves vs. Bulls betting pick.
If you want a few extra expert NBA picks, I also love the Bulls to cover (-3), I feel like Utah (-13) should also be able to get the job done, and Denver (+6) is a safer bet if you’re with me on the Nuggets, but don’t want to target the full upset.
As for the Hornets vs. Pistons game, I think the best bet is the Over.
That does it for Friday’s free NBA picks and predictions. Whether you’re looking for a good underdog, or need help betting straight up or against the spread, hopefully my NBA betting picks nudge you in the right direction.
