Top NBA Player Prop Bets for Tuesday, January 4, 2022

My return to the land of NBA player prop bets went rather well on Monday night. Desmond Bane snagged a steal (-333), and Nassir Little blew his points+rebounds+assists total out of the water (+114).

Luka Doncic and Reggie Jackson couldn’t deliver and gave me a 2-2 mark on the night, but batting .500 with a plus money win should have helped you make out okay to start out the week.

Tuesday offers a mild five-game slate, but there’s still plenty to get excited about. Join me as I break down my four favorite NBA player props for January 4, 2022.

Derrick White should continue to do a lot of the heavy-lifting for the Spurs on Tuesday night. He and San Antonio battle the Raptors in Toronto, and they’ll do so with top point guard Dejounte Murray still sidelined.

Spurs say Dejounte Murray remains in the reconditioning process and will miss tomorrow’s game in Toronto. Lonnie Walker and Doug McDermott remain in H&S protocols. KBD is questionable to play.

Murray’s absence opens up a lot of usage, while Lonnie Walker is also slated to miss this one.

With an enhanced role, White has thrived, scoring 15+ points in five of his last six games. He’s also been dishing out dimes at a torrid rate, and has easily surpassed this total three times over his last five contests.

He’ll be very busy again tonight, and the price for 30+ total points, rebounds, and assists is fantastic. You can find this prop and odds at Sportsbetting.ag, and you can feel to get a bit more aggressive if you’d like.

Last night I went after one steal with Desmond Bane (-333). The price wasn’t ideal, but I loved the bet, and it delivered. I like a similar bet tonight, but I’ll be chasing two thefts by Ja Morant, and at plus money.

Morant is averaging 1.4 steals on the year, and he has multiple thefts in three of his last seven games.

Cleveland only has one of their regular guards right now, too, as Darius Garland is expected back.

The team is otherwise asking a lot out of guys like Kevin Pangos and others, which naturally should make their turnover issues even worse.

Against Morant and a feisty Memphis defense (1st in steals per game), I love the value here.

You can decide exactly how ambitious you’d like to get here. The top NBA betting sites differ on the exact prop offered, but you can bet on Washington to score anywhere between 12 and 28 points.

I’ll play it safe at a cool 14 points, as he did showcase some nice ability when he popped off for a career-high 20 points in his last game.

The minutes and opportunities are going to be there for Washington, who put up 16.4 points and shot 37% from long range in his final year at Ohio State. He’s looking to earn a permanent roster spot, so don’t be shocked if he stays hot tonight.

You can go harder at this LeBron James prop, but I’ll settle in at three makes from long range at a nice -164 price.

James is converting three outside shots per game, and he’s hit at least three in each of his last four contests. The volume and efficiency is good enough to roll with James here, and I like the price.
