Top NBA Player Prop Bets for Monday, January 3, 2022

I was away on holiday, but I’m back to unleash some more NBA player props for Monday, January 3rd, 2022.

My last installment of NBA player prop bets were successful. I offered four props, but one saw a player not play due to injury. I went 2-1 on the night, and will aim to hit above .500 again tonight.

There is a lot going on in the NBA on this slate. Several players are banged up or sidelined, and there are 10 games to consider. I have you covered on the props side of things, as I’ll push out my four favorite NBA player prop bets for January 3rd, 2022.

Play it safer if you want, as you can get this same bet at 20+ (-111) or 18+ (-192) at Sportsbetting.ag. I prefer a little upside here, as you can tap into Little’s role at plus money.

You can dream bigger, too, as I’d go as high as 30+ (+539) and honestly feel pretty comfortable about it.

The goal is to get wins and offer value, though, so I’ll stand pat at 22+ at this +114 price. Why? First, because the Blazers are really short handed, and they’ll be without their best player tonight.

Jusuf Nurkic and Cody Zeller (health & safety protocols) are doubtful while Damian Lilllard (abdominal tendinopathy), CJ McCollum (right lung pneumothorax), Brandon Williams and Cameron McGriff (health & safety protocols) are out for Monday’s game versus Hawks.

C.J. McCollum is also still out, Jusuf Nurkic is doubtful to return on Monday, and Anfernee Simons could be limited if he’s back tonight, as well.

Little has been dealing with an ankle issue and played just 14 minutes last game, but I suspect he’ll be asked to take on a bigger role in this one.

This price isn’t the greatest, I’m aware. Feel free to shop around at the other top NBA betting websites online. However, I love this bet, and I think it hits.

You can always go a bit harder (2+ steals comes in at +135), but Desmond Bane is an active defender and he averages a steal per game. He’s also got a nice little streak going, as he’s had a theft in each of his last eight games.

Bane is going to get a steal tonight. If you can find better odds, go for it. But the likelihood of this one hitting makes me not be too worried about the -333 price tag.

Luka Doncic played 31 minutes in his first game back from a layoff, so it stands to reason he’ll be back to a normal workload on Monday night.

He’s a threat to pop off for 30+ in any given contest, and he’s averaging over 25 points per game on the year. Denver really doesn’t have anyone that can slow him down, either, while he’ll be needed more as a scorer with Kristaps Porzingis on the shelf at the moment.

This is not a low scoring total, but the price is good and the logic checks out. Doncic has topped this points mark in three of his last four games, and he’ll be needed.

There are so many great NBA player props to target tonight. BetOnline has a fun Nikola Jokic triple-double bet (+332) that is appealing, and you can even take it easy or go harder at the props I am suggesting here.

Jackson handed out four assists in the last full game he played, but he had 19 dimes in the previous two full games he played in before that.

Paul George is sidelined for a while, and Jackson is being asked to do a lot of the scoring and facilitating. That doesn’t change going into Monday, as Jackson faces a Timberwolves squad that has allowed the 6th most assists to opponents in 2021-22, while ranking 20th in points allowed per game.

The Clippers should thrive in this spot, and Jackson reaching four assists (he averages 4.2 on the year) was never a tall order to begin with.
