I’ll be making my Instacart 500 betting pick after I take a look at some of the other contenders for this race.
Let’s move on to those first.
Betting on the 2021 Instacart 500
If you’re hoping to win money gambling on the Instacart 500, I’ve put together a few drivers for you to take a look at.
I’ve been looking back at last year’s FanShield 500 race at Phoneix and reliving the action in order to put together some tips for the Instacart 500 this year.
You might remember it was a really interesting event, which was won by Joey Logano. There were 20 different lead changes among seven drivers, as well as three different stage winners, making it a thoroughly competitive race.
But Sunday is a whole new race, and you’re looking for answers for betting on the 2021 Instacart 500.
Let’s start with the favorite.
Chase Elliott +500
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series king won the Season Finale in November on this track.
Elliott has three top-5s and six top-10s from ten races at Phoenix, with an average finish of 11.80.
Expect him to be a very popular choice in fans and pundits’ predictions and picks for the Instacart 500.
Denny Hamlin +600
A two-time winner at Phoenix, Hamlin last took the checkered flag with victory at the 2019 Bluegreen Vacations 500.
An average finish of 11.03 from 31 starts puts him among the drivers with the best odds for the Instacart 500.
Brad Keselowski +600
Keselowski finished 2nd in the 2020 Season Finale here, which matched his previous best of runner-up in 2018’s November race at Phoenix.
The Team Penske star has an average finish of 13.00 from 23 starts here and should be in the mix.
I don’t believe there is value in Keselowski’s odds to win the Instacart 500 and will be looking past him this weekend.
Other Drivers to Look At
- Kyle Busch +800
- Joey Logano +800
- Kyle Larson +1000
If you’re looking to wager on the Instacart 500, the drivers above will be popular picks for Phoenix this weekend.
According to my 2021 Instacart 500 predictions, all three should do well in this race. This is backed up by their previous form at Phoenix.
Here’s how these guys have performed at Avondale since February 2018.
Instacart 500 Pick for 2021
My betting pick for the Instacart 500 is Kevin Harvick.
There is no driver on this track with a better resume than “Happy Harvick,” and I think we’re due a win for the 2020 NASCAR Regular Season champion.
My 2021 Instacart 500 predictions all end with Harvick taking the checkered flag on Sunday, March 14.
But rather than give you my opinions for why Harvick wins NASCAR’s next race, I’ll leave you with some cold, hard facts about the Stewart-Haas icon’s track record at Phoenix.
