Monday Night Football Player Props for NFL Week 3 – Chiefs vs. Ravens

Last week’s Monday Night Football player prop bet picks by Michael Wynn were sublime. Alvin Kamara (45+ receiving yards), Derek Carr (266+ passing yards), Darren Waller (61+ receiving yards and 6+ catches) all paid off at solid prices.
That was a perfect 4/4 by Wynn, for those keeping score at home. I went 2/4 with my week three TNF player props, so hopefully I can pick up the torch and not embarrass myself on MNF.
With that, let’s take a look at what’s cooking for this game as I get to my favorite Chiefs vs. Ravens player prop bets.
Lamar Jackson Over 61+ Rushing Yards (-114)
BetOnline has some of the best Monday Night Football player prop bets you’ll find anywhere online, and one of my favorites is this Lamar Jackson rushing yardage wager.
The reigning NFL MVP put up the most rushing yards in a single season ever by a quarterback last year, and he really hasn’t dialed it back too much on the ground in 2020.
Jackson has rushed for 45 and 54 yards in his first two games, with the Ravens allowing him to let loose for 23 total rushing attempts. It’s anyone’s guess how much he’ll run in this one, but we should note a few things.
First, that he has the speed and athleticism to bust off a 60+ yard run and win this bet on one play. His role, last year’s production, and his yardage in this exact matchup in 2019 (46 yards on eight carries) all point to this being a very plausible bet.
That, and the Chiefs have faced two mobile passers to start the year, and have given up 27 and 18 yards on the ground. Maybe that gets you off of this prop, but Jackson is a different beast.
I like the Over in this spot, and the -114 price is solid.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over 4+ Catches (-122)
CEH had zero receptions in his NFL debut, but Kansas City rightfully got him more involved as a receiver (six catches) in week two.
The role is there for Edwards-Helaire, who is an elite pass-catcher, and also happens to be the full-time feature back for the Chiefs. He had eight targets last week, and something similar should surprise no one.
With Kansas City pegged as the underdog tonight, it’s pretty likely CEH once again sees numerous balls come his way. The matchup isn’t great, but I think the role and need will combine to get CEH where he (and we) need to go with this bet.
Mark Andrews to Score a Touchdown (+120)
Touchdowns are hardly predictive in the world of sports betting, but Andrews remains Baltimore’s main red-zone threat.
Kansas City has been a middle of the pack unit against tight ends so far in 2020, and Andrews has the ability to win this matchup. I like his chances to rack up some receiving yardage, but the thing we can usually bank on with Andrews is that he’ll score.
Andrews has already found paydirt twice in 2020, and I think he does it again in this high profile MNF clash.
Summary
This week three Monday Night Football tilt between the Chiefs and Ravens is set up to potentially be the game of the year.
Whether it is or not really doesn’t matter for sports bettors, though. You just need to hit some winning wagers. Fortunately, I like the three MNF player props above.
Mark Andrews is a good bet to score, Clyde Edwards-Helaire should be active as a receiver, and Lamar Jackson’s rushing prowess makes him a solid bet to eclipse 61+ yards on the ground.
Whether you’re game to roll with my top MNF prop bets, you can still profit from this game in other ways. I have the Chiefs among my week three NFL upset picks, and their +160 price at the top sports betting sites is tough to ignore.
Admir Aljic has you covered with a full breakdown of this game, too. Just check out his Chiefs vs. Ravens betting preview for odds and a pick.
