Monday Night Football Player Props for NFL Week 11 – Buccaneers vs. Rams
There is a lot on the line in Los Angeles on Monday night, when the 6-3 Rams host the 7-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both teams are within striking distance of first place in their respective divisions, and depending on how things shake out, a win here might give them the inside track at the top seed in the NFC, too.
Playoff and division implications aside, this is just a fun game.
Tom Brady takes on a talented Rams defense that limited him to just 13 points in his last Super Bowl appearance, and it’s even better with Jalen Ramsey playing shutdown defense in the secondary.
The Bucs are loaded on offense, but will they have their way with this strong defense on the road? That’s the big question for bettors to answer. If you need a little assistance with the game itself, check out this Buccaneers vs. Rams week 11 betting pick.
I’ll be taking a look at the best player props for MNF in week 11. With that, here’s my favorite NFL player prop bets for the Monday Night Football clash between the Buccaneers and Rams.
Tom Brady Under 300.5 Passing Yards (-115)
This feels like a crazy high yardage total. It should be known that the Rams have a pretty good defense, too.
Not only does this unit have the star power via the aforementioned Ramsey and Aaron Donald, but they’ve been getting results in 2020. L.A. ranks third against the pass on the year, and also comes into week 11 with the fourth most sacks.
Brady has the weapons to make me look like a fool here. He’s even coming off of a big 341-yard passing day last week. But he’s only topped this mark three times on the season, and it’s a bad matchup on the road.
L.A. likes to play ball control offense, too. I’m just not seeing an easy path to the Over here, so I’ll bet on Brady’s passing yardage finishing below 300.5 on MNF.
Jared Goff Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+141)
This is mostly about the price, as +141 for Goff to throw one or zero touchdowns feels pretty alluring.
There is more to it, thankfully, as Goff tossed zero touchdowns in his last game, and the Rams will be without top offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth.
The latter is a pretty big deal, but this matchup also isn’t as good as it looked earlier in the year. Tampa Bay has a very dangerous pass rush, a stout run defense, and an aggressive secondary.
Goff could put up some yardage here, but he just hasn’t been some lights out quarterback in 2020 in general. He has just 13 touchdown passes through his first nine games, and while that’s not atrocious, he’s finished Under this total four times.
I think he’s good for a fifth in week 11.
Cam Akers Over 18.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
There are other MNF player props dealing with the rushing yardage for Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown, but this is the bet to target of the three.
To be fair, the matchup is brutal.
The Bucs are stout up front, and they rank #1 against the run on the season. That won’t magically change here, but Akers is a good athlete that gets a lot done when he has the blocking.
More importantly, though, he just needs 19 rushing yards to get you a winning bet. That’s a little tougher against this front seven than you’d normally think, but it’d only take one solid run to give him a really good chance.
Antonio Brown to Score a Touchdown (+200)
The other Monday Night Football player prop bet I like is the Over for Antonio Brown’s receiving yardage. He’s played two games with the Bucs, and both times he was targeted at least five times.
His targets went up from five to eight last week, and it’s clear that Tom Brady wants to get his friend going in this offense. There are honestly numerous Antonio Brown prop bets I like here, as he’s a pretty good bet to top 58.5 receiving yards (-115), as well as haul in over 4.5 catches (-165).
He’ll probably hit the Over on both of those bets.
I just prefer the value with him scoring.
Brown to score (+200) is very interesting because he’s seeing plenty of action, but hasn’t scored in two games with Tampa Bay. Jalen Ramsey also can’t cover everyone, and it’s only a matter of time until all the other star players take enough attention away from Brown that he finds paydirt.
The clock is ticking on this one. There’s no reason to shy away from it at a cool +200.
These are my favorite player props for Monday Night Football in week 11. There are countless others to check out at the best NFL betting websites, but just throwing money at an endless string of Monday Night Football player prop bets may not be the best idea.
Maybe that’s just me, but I prefer to look at some wagers I love and condense things a bit. Obviously you could hit on a bunch of props, but it does stretch you a bit thin, and the more you bet, the more you’re likely to lose.
Here, we have four really nice MNF player props, with two actually offering excellent betting value.
While this game could easily be quite explosive, it features two capable rushing attacks, and two very talented defenses. My guess is the Rams try to slow things down and control the pace, while Tampa Bay’s defense up front gives Jared Goff problems.
This all likely caters to the Bucs, who simply have more talent to put on the field. That could bleed into the props above, and of course, that’s the plan.
