When some fights are announced, picking the winner in your head can feel like an automatic reaction.
I made up my winner’s prediction for Vettori vs. Holland as soon as I heard this matchup was going down. And in case it’s not abundantly clear, I’m going for “The Italian Dream” to leave the cage with a decision victory.

Latest Odds for Vettori vs. Holland
The betting line for Vettori vs. Holland is indisputably in favor of Italy’s UFC star.
Vettori’s odds to beat Holland make him the favorite on the night, and there are no surprises from the oddsmakers over at Bovada.
Holland is a nice +265 long shot. He’s taken this fight at just over one week’s notice, having last fought on March 20 in a loss to Derek Brunson.
A little bit of history will be made on the night, as Holland will set a new record for the fastest turnaround between UFC main events. But the odds for Holland to beat Vettori show that it’ll be a serious uphill climb for the “Big Mouth” if he is to come away with anything from this bout.
If you’re looking to wager on UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Holland, here are few betting tips for the Vettori vs. Holland bout in the form of my best bets for the scrap.
Top Bets for Vettori vs. Holland
- Vettori to Win (-350)
- Vettori to Win by Decision (N/A)
- Fight to End Over 3.5 Rounds (N/A)
If you’re betting on Vettori’s odds to beat Holland, he’s -350 at the time of writing.
Those odds aren’t exactly the most pulsating, but then again, Vettori comes into this fight with the trump cards.
I can’t see the Italian beating Holland by KO/TKO. I can flat out say that I would bet on Elvis Presley making a comeback before picking Vettori to starch Holland. He has just two KO/TKOs from 19 wins, while Holland has never been knocked out.
When the best props for Vettori vs. Holland are released, look for value in the odds for the Italian winning by submission. There is a chance he could win this way. Although, a much safer bet will be the fight to go over 3.5 rounds, which I think it’s nailed on to do.
Sounds like, Vettori doesn’t want to fight…. pic.twitter.com/MLSH6N0cwq— Kevin Holland (@Trailblaze2top) April 1, 2021
How Vettori Bets Holland
Holland is always up for a fight. Dana White and the fans love this about him.
But at what cost? I mean, there is no way that he is going to step into the cage against Vettori on a week’s turnaround and outpoint him. He’s certainly not going to have much hope of beating the Italian by the use of a blueprint or highly rendered gameplan.
Can Holland beat Vettori? It’s not impossible. He’s a big, strong guy that has serious punching power. But against his opponent on April 10, he’s going to be taken down, again and again, watching his puncher’s chance nullified expertly by the suffocating wrestling of the Italian.
Derek Brunson wrapped Holland up like a Christmas gift. Vettori is going to do the same, en route to a unanimous decision victory.
My prediction for Vettori vs. Holland is a pretty straightforward victory for Marvin.
So, that’s my fight predictions and Vettori vs. Holland pick in the bag.
I’m expecting Vettori to beat Holland by way of decision on the night. But hey, kudos to Kevin for stepping up at short notice again and proving he’s the man. He’s a breath of fresh air in the UFC, and it would be nice to see him rewarded for his bravery. I just don’t think his style will work against Vettori.
So, that’s all for now. If you’re looking for more UFC fights to gamble on in April, I have you covered.
