Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers – EPL, December 29, 2020

Manchester United has been criticized for its inconsistency and general lack of a real title challenge this season. But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side welcomes Wolves to Old Trafford on Tuesday on the back of an eight-game unbeaten run.
Wolves have been far more unconvincing but have shown a renewed determination recently that could trouble the home side here.
Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers Odds
Wolves have started scoring a lot of late goals – and that makes the away win bet odds from BetOnline look very interesting here. But United has proven very difficult to overcome this season so far – and that makes the draw bet price the best value, in my opinion.
Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Preview
Manchester United led against Leicester on Boxing Day but then fell to an own goal five minutes from time that gave the game a much fairer result. Bruno Fernandes was, once again, the main creative thrust in the United team – scoring one and setting up another for Marcus Rashford. Wolves will need to restrict his movement if it is to get anything from the trip to Old Trafford.
But Solskjaer will be hoping that more of his starting eleven has a bigger impact on this game, without having to rely on the Portuguese midfielder for everything. There are enough good players in the squad, but there is still an unconvincing element to United that stops any thoughts of winning in the league from forming too quickly.
Wolves have not enjoyed the best of seasons so far but have improved in the last few games and scored another late goal on Sunday to snatch a point from the game with Spurs. Nuno Espirito Santo will be pleased to see that fitness and belief are starting to have an effect on his players.
There has only been one win in the last five Premier League games, though, so an improvement with results is desperately needed if Wolves is to challenge for one of the European spots again. Losing Raul Jimenez for an undetermined length of time is still the biggest blow for the club.

The Draw+280
If Jimenez was available for Wolves, then there might be the chance that the Mexican striker could change this game in an instant. But in his absence, Wolves will more than likely just plug away and look to take advantage of any Manchester United mistakes. There could well be some with this defense, though, so a draw might be on the cards.
