The end of a long season draws even closer. Both Manchester United and Fulham have very little to play for as far as the league goes on Tuesday.

That could mean that we see some new faces given a run out at Old Trafford. The home side also has a Europa League final to prepare for, so squad rotation is possible.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can look to the likes of Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood as backup strikers, it’s not a surprise that BetOnline makes the home side the clear favorite for this one.

Performances, rather than results, will be more important to Scott Parker, so the home win bet appears the only one of the three to consider.

Manchester United had a rare weekend off. With previously playing four games in just eight days, there will probably still be some fatigue in the squad. The first-choice players are likely to be given the day off for the final EPL game of the season against Wolves on Sunday, so United might have a fairly imposing eleven starting here.

Scott Parker has few injury worries but has started to play some of the fringe players to give them top-flight experience before Fulham ends its time in the Premier League. Teenager Fabio Carvalho took advantage of that when he was on his debut as Fulham lost 3-1 away to Southampton.

But Parker will be looking at the positives now after such a disappointing season. It was always going to be a tough campaign, but Fulham has won just one of its last 11 games – at a time when victories were vital for any chance of staying up. The loan players will leave at the end of the season, so Fulham’s young future should get some more minutes over the next week.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will already know who he wants to play in the Europa League final against Villarreal now, so there will be no players trying to break into that starting eleven. It is more likely that United takes things easy while picking Fulham off when given a chance on Tuesday.

A home win and no further injuries will be the best outcome for the Old Trafford club.
