Lotte Giants vs. Kiwoom Heroes Betting Preview – KBO, Wednesday, September 16, 2020
The opening game between the Giants and the Heroes certainly didn’t go as expected. The underdog took a huge early lead and despite Kiwoom’s best efforts, Lotte held on to register an 8-5 victory on Tuesday.
The Heroes could’ve surpassed the NC Dinos to take the top spot in the KBO standings with a win and I’m sure they will be eager to bounce back immediately.
I share my prediction and betting pick for game two of the series in this Lotte Giants vs. Kiwoom Heroes betting preview. The post also includes the latest odds, analysis of the team news, and some key stats.

Lotte Giants Form and Stats
The Lotte Giants had a strong start on Tuesday and that was instrumental for the win. The team was 6-0 up after only two innings and while the opponent was better by the end of the game, the underdog did enough to secure an 8-5 victory.
The chances of another successful day on Wednesday are more than reasonable if you look at Lotte’s expected starting pitcher. Dan Straily already has ten wins in 2020 and some of the best numbers in the league thanks to a 2.82 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.
The American had several tough games recently, but he remains one of the most reliable options. With some help from the offense, Straily should be able to lead the Giants to another victory.
Kiwoom Heroes Form and Stats
The Heroes could’ve ended the day in the top spot of the KBO table with a win on Tuesday and I’m sure they deeply regret their slow start. The problem is that they could be in trouble on Wednesday as well.
Huyn Hee Han should get the nod for the second clash of the series and he has a 5.59 ERA and a 1.36. The stats are not terrible, but it’s hard to expect something big by Han. He’s an average pitcher that will be decent and that’s it.
The Heroes offense will most likely have to carry the game, but that has happened multiple times in August and September, so Kiwoom has a shot.
Giants vs. Heroes Prediction and Pick
I believe that the Lotte Giants should be able to win game two of the series thanks to starting the better pitcher. And yet, Dan Straily has been far from its best lately, so the price of -130 is not good enough, in my opinion.
I prefer to go for the over 9 runs option available for -110. Both sides can explode on the offensive end as we saw yesterday, so that’s the better pick.
