LGD Gaming vs. Gen.G – Saturday, October 10, 2020

There’s little doubt that the clash between LGD Gaming and Gen.G is one of the most anticipated matches on the LoL Worlds 2020 schedule on Saturday. Both Asian giants have two wins and one defeat up to this point, so another victory will be crucial for their ambitions to progress.

I have high expectations for Gen.G in the 2020 Worlds Main Event and I was slightly surprised by the defeat against Fnatic. If you add the close win over LGD, the team hasn’t been too convincing so far in the tournament.

The good news is that Gen.G still has two wins and only one defeat, so the team’s fate doesn’t depend on the other results. Two or three victories by the end of the group stage should be enough to secure the top spot.

I believe that today’s clash against LGD will answer plenty of questions. The Chinese side is excellent mechanically and Gen.G has to play close to its best to win.

I believe that Saturday’s clash between Gen.G and LGD Gaming will once again be close. I don’t see how any of the teams can finish this one early and there should be plenty of team fights, so going for the over 26.5 kills outcome makes the most sense.
