Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace – English Premier League, April 26, 2021

If the news about a potential European Super League had not been so shocking, Brendan Rodgers and his Leicester players might have afforded themselves a wry smile about not being included. They currently sit third in the league and have recently won more titles than three of those teams that were set to jump ship.
This Monday, the Foxes welcome Crystal Palace to the King Power, hoping to win three more points to qualify for the Champions League yet again.
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace Odds
Crystal Palace will be thankful that it isn’t involved in a scrappy relegation battle as the season draws to a close.
The bookmakekers have recognized that the Eagles are just about safe now and made the visiting team a long shot to get anything from the trip to Leicester. That seems correct in my view.
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace Match Preview
Leicester took time out of its Champions League qualification quest at the weekend to book a place in next month’s FA Cup final, where it will meet Chelsea. Although by no means guaranteed, a cup win would be a deserved reward for the club after another very impressive campaign.
Rodgers will be hoping that Jamie Vardy is back on form by then after going curiously quiet in the last month or so. Luckily for Leicester, strike partner Kelechi Iheanacho has come through with the goals instead – and he could be the main threat of more on Monday against Palace.
With no real relegation worries, Palace’s season is in danger of fizzling out completely.
It is unlikely that any of the clubs at the foot of the table will be able to catch Palace now, so the concentration will need to be maintained if there aren’t any anxiety attacks in the coming weeks. There are no new injury worries, so there should be unchanged side walking out at the King Power – it just depends on whether the players are bothered enough.
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace Prediction and Pick
-
Leicester City to Win-217
This would seem to be one of the more straightforward games of the weekend to predict, as Leicester looks to be more superior in every way than Palace.
The Foxes are not even really playing to the best of their ability at the moment. I still expect there to be three more points for the home side on Monday.
