Leicester City vs. Arsenal – EPL, February 28, 2021

It seems like no team will be able to catch Manchester City at the top of the league now. But Leicester City might get closest.
The Foxes welcome Arsenal to the King Power Stadium on Sunday, looking to keep in touch with the league leaders and also consolidate a Champions League berth that seems virtually its own now.
Leicester City vs. Arsenal Odds
BetOnline continues to underestimate Leicester as it prices this game far closer than I would have expected. Arsenal has gotten better in the last few weeks, but Leicester is one of the best sides in the EPL at the moment – and I would have thought that the Foxes could have been odds on to win this one.
Leicester City vs. Arsenal Match Preview
Aston Villa manager Dean Smith was not happy that the news of Jack Grealish’s injury was leaked from the training ground ahead of the game against Leicester at the weekend, but the Foxes were far too good anyway – and fully deserved to take all three points.
James Maddison and Harvey Barnes scored Leicester’s goals in the opening 20 minutes and proved, once again, that Brendan Rodgers’ side does not have to rely on Jamie Vardy to find the net these days. Maddison is a doubt for the game this weekend after limping off the pitch, but there is still a lot of talent in this Leicester squad.
Arsenal has some very good players of its, own of course. But Mikel Arteta has spent much of the season coaxing performances – and he has just about started to reap the rewards of that approach. A patchy season sees the Gunners in mid-table and with not much hope of making the European places this year.
The 1-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend made it just one win in the last five games, but the performance was a big improvement on what has come before. There is still a lot of work to be done with the squad – including shipping some more players out of the club – but there is some hope that next season will be far more successful for Arsenal.

Leicester City to Win+138
If James Maddison does end up missing out on this game, Brendan Rodgers will be able to find an able replacement, but he will not be too happy about the glut of injuries he has had to deal with this season. The good news for Leicester fans is that their club now has a squad that can deal with absences – and there should be another three points to celebrate on Sunday.
