KBO Predictions and Analysis – Tuesday, October 26

There are three KBO fixtures scheduled for Tuesday and all of them have the potential to impact the South Korean baseball postseason.

I expect a lot of tension and I won’t be shocked if we see a lot of runs. This has been the trend lately and I guess it’s normal towards the end of the regular season.

The odds are yet to be released, but we have the team news and that’s enough for my KBO predictions for October 26. Here are all games I cover.

It looks like the LG Twins will finish the regular season third after spending most of the campaign chasing the top spot. It’s a disappointment, for sure, but there’s still a chance to move up the rankings.

The next three games are against the last-placed Hanwha Eagles, so the Twins are simply obliged to try their best. Three victories should be enough to at least keep the pressure on the leaders until the final day of the season.

For the first clash, the following pitchers are expected to start.

The young Lim Jun-hyeng had several solid starts before he was crushed by the Kiwoom Heroes last week. His confidence probably suffered a blow, but the overall impression is that the player has the talent to succeed and Hanwha’s offense is among the worst in the country.

On the bright side for the Eagles, Kim Min-woo has been among their top pitchers. Still, I don’t think he will get enough support from the bullpen and his batters, so I prefer backing the Twins in my KBO predictions for October 26.

SSG’s resilience this season has been remarkable. The team has been grinding results when it matters the most and currently occupies the fifth spot in the table. I remind you that’s the last one that provides a place in the KBO Playoffs.

The NC Dinos are one of the teams hoping to catch the Landers before it’s all said and done, so this game could be crucial.

The reigning champions are sending the better starter, like the stats below can show you.

Shin Min-hyeok has been more consistent this season and he has two wins against the Heroes already. The problem is he looked vulnerable on both occasions and his latest form has been poor too.

I believe that the NC Dinos will have to rely on their offense, but I like SSG’s chances more. The Landers have shown a strong mentality and that could be the deciding factor on Tuesday.

The Kiwoom Heroes just beat the Hanwha Eagles convincingly, but they face a much stronger opponent next. Tuesday’s clash against Doosan Bears is the first of three that could decide the fate of both sides.

Here are the starting pitchers for the upcoming game one.

Kiwoom’s starter is decent, but the Bears are bringing the heavy artillery. Choi Won-joon has been among the best players in his position in the entire league.

He can stop any offense and Doosan’s batters certainly can provide more than enough support. The Bears should have the upper hand on Tuesday and I expect them to win.
