Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Wednesday, June 15th, 2022

Welcome back to our daily KBO picks as we head into Wednesday this week. 2 of yesterday’s games were canceled, but all 5 should be ready to go for today. That means we can make our KBO predictions without having to worry about cancellations.

All 3 of the home teams that were able to play yesterday were also able to win. The Kiwoom Heroes, KT Wiz, and LG Twins were all able to start their week off on the right foot. They’ll look to start or continue their winning streaks this time around.

Kiwoom was able to pull within 2.5 games of the SSG Landers with yesterday’s results as well. They’ve been playing very well over the last few weeks, while the Landers have been very inconsistent.

Let’s see which teams are favored to get the win for Wednesday’s games, by looking at the KBO odds on the following sites;

After a big 7-0 win on Wednesday, the LG Twins find themselves favored to beat the Lions again. The Twins are enjoying their month of June so far, with a league-best 7-3-1 record. They’ve started to distance themselves from the middle of the standings, which they will be happy about later in this season.

The Wiz were able to pull off a narrow victory over the Landers in their last game. They were losing 4-2 in the seventh but rattled off 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. Now they are favored to beat the Landers again, but SSG’s KBO betting odds are not in plus territory even though they are underdogs.

Kia and NC were unable to get their game in due to the weather, but everything looks good for Tuesday. NC’s been playing well lately and were able to climb out of last place. However, the Tigers’ have a dangerous offense, so they won’t be easy to beat.

Hanwha is the new team in last place and are heavy underdogs to the Giants on Wednesday’s KBO betting odds. They weren’t able to get in their game yesterday, so the starting pitchers remain the same.

These are my KBO predictions for who wins each game on Wednesday. I am not changing my KBO picks from yesterday from the games that were canceled. The starting pitchers remain the same, so I will be rolling with NC and Lotte for today.

As for my other KBO betting picks, I am rolling with the Twins over the Lions. They were able to beat them by 7 runs on Wednesday and should have a strong chance to win again here.

The Wiz and Landers game might be another very close one, but the Wiz should have the upper hand. Ivan Nova has been incredibly inconsistent for the Landers with his 5.93 ERA. Um Sang-back has a better 3.70 ERA, but he also doesn’t pitch very deep into games.

Both pitchers are very strong for the Bears vs. Heroes game. They have each faced their opposing teams twice this year, but Lee Young-ha has been a bit sharper than Tyler Eppler. Young-ha has held Kiwoom to just 1 run in 12.2 innings, while Eppler has allowed 4 runs in 12 innings.

Here are my 3 best KBO betting picks for Wednesday’s slate.

For starters, I have the LG Twins winning by 2 or more against the Samsung Lions. If they can beat them by 7, they can at least win by 2 here. Lee Min-ho has been very impressive against the Lions’ lineup this year. If he puts in another strong performance, the Twins’ offense should be able to do the rest.

Samsung’s starting pitcher, offense, and bullpen are not intriguing for this game. That should allow the Twins to win this one rather easily.

The last of my free KBO picks for Wednesday will be the Lotte Giants’ run line. Charlie Barnes is a very tough pitcher to score runs off, while you can’t say the same about Yun Dae-kyung. Barnes shut out Hanwha in 6 innings on 5/13, while allowed 6 runs in 5.2 innings against Lotte on 5/14.

Hanwha’s bullpen also ranks dead last in their last 10 games with a 4.88 ERA. The Giants should be able to grab a lead with Barnes on the mound and extend it throughout the game.
