Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Wednesday, June 1st, 2022

Our KBO picks are back for another great day, as we head into the month of June. May was an interesting month with lots of teams either rising or falling in the standings pretty drastically. After the SSG Landers dominated the month of April, they started to cool off a bit.
They still have a solid lead on the rest of the teams, but the Kiwoom Heroes could be right on their tails. Kiwoom just won their 7th straight game and has been seemingly unstoppable as of late.
Can they continue their dominance into June, or which team will catch fire? Let’s take a look at the KBO betting odds for Wednesday to see which team is favored to start their month of right.
KBO Odds for Wednesday, June 1st, 2022
- Kia Tigers (+101) vs. Doosan Bears (-131), O/U 7
- KT Wiz (+254) vs. SSG Landers (-329), O/U 7.5
- Samsung Lions (-125) vs. Kiwoom Heroes (-105), O/U 6
- LG Twins (-214) vs. Lotte Giants (+174), O/U 8.5
- NC Dinos (-158) vs. Hanwha Eagles (+128), O/U 9.5
In a very high scoring game yesterday, the Kia Tigers were able to defeat the Doosan Bears 13-10. That might have people looking towards the over this time around, as the Bears are favored to win Game 2 of this series.
The Landers dropped a close game to the Wiz 2-1 on Wednesday. Wilmer Font pitched great, but Ko Young-pyo was even better. SSG might be feeling the pressure from Kiwoom, as they have creeped to within 4 games behind them.
The Lotte vs. LG series might be the toughest one to predict. Lotte won Game 1 of the series 7-5, so they’ll look to keep it rolling after a recent rough patch. LG’s been struggling themselves, so both teams will be looking to turn things around.
NC didn’t get an amazing performance out of Drew Rucinski like usual, but they were still able to win by 5 runs. These two teams are battling it out for last place, but NC looks to have the upper hand for the second game in a row.

KBO Predictions for Wednesday’s Games
- Doosan Bears Over Kia Tigers
- SSG Landers Over KT Wiz
- Samsung Lions Over Kiwoom Heroes
- LG Twins Over Lotte Giants
- NC Dinos Over Hanwha Eagles
Here are my KBO predictions for who wins each game on Wednesday. There are a lot of games that should be close, so make sure you’re aware of that.
Kia has been on a roll, but Doosan could have a chance at beating them in Game 2 of their series.
Robert Stock takes the mound for the Bears in this one, while Ronnie Williams opposes. Stock’s 2.31 ERA has been a bit steadier than Williams’ 3.62 this year. Williams has also been pretty shaky recently, allowing 9 runs in his last 11.2 innings pitched.
So Hyeong-jun (2.67 ERA) has been solid this year, but he gave up 4 runs in 6 IP against SSG this year.
Every streak has to end sometime and David Buchanan (2.32 ERA) should give Samsung a shot at snapping Kiwoom’s insane 7 wins in a row. You can’t go wrong with Kiwoom either really, as they’ve been on quite the tear.
Na Gyun-an is being stretched out as a starter for Lotte, which can be tough to rely on. He’s had a mixed bag so far in two starts, allowing 0 runs (6.2 IP) in one and 4 runs (5 IP) in the other.
The NC vs. Hanwha game should be a toss up, but Lee Jae-hak looked good against the Eagles earlier this year (1 ER, 6 IP).
Top KBO Betting Picks to Target for 6/1/2022
Our KBO betting picks are on fire, going 12 of our last 13 picks. Let’s hope we can continue our hot streak into Wednesday’s games.
Like I said earlier, there are a lot of games that can be very difficult to predict. That’s why I went with 3 total bets with zero moneylines. The moneyline prices don’t look appetizing in really any of the 5 games for Wednesday.
Kia and Doosan combined for an incredible 23 runs in yesterday’s game. If they even get half of that in this one, they’ll have more than enough for the over. Ronnie Williams’ recent games have not been impressive, so Doosan should be able to put up another strong run total.
On the other hand, Kia has the best offense in the KBO and are scoring 7.1 runs per game in their last 10. That means an average game for the Tigers would hit the over by itself, not even needing any runs from Doosan.
KT and SSG combined for just 3 runs yesterday and have some great pitchers going in this one. So Hyeong-jun’s first start against SSG wasn’t impressive, but that was his very first start of 2022 and the Landers were on fire then.
Kim Kwang-hyun pitching against one of the worst offenses in the KBO should make for a strong under bet as well.
David Buchanan (2.32 ERA) and Eric Jokisch (2.67 ERA) going head to head makes for a strong under bet too. Kiwoom’s bullpen has been untouchable lately with a stellar 0.70 ERA.
