Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Tuesday, May 31st, 2022

Welcome back to another great week of making our KBO picks. We had our scheduled off day on Monday, but we are back in action for Tuesday. Hopefully we can get a streak going like the Kiwoom Heroes right now, who didn’t lose any of their 6 games last week.

Their 6 game winning streak jumped them up the standings to second place, but they’re still 5 games back behind the SSG Landers. That’s a good representation of how well the Landers have been playing this year too.

There are a lot of important matchups across the board here, so let’s check out Tuesday’s KBO betting odds to see which teams are favored to win.

For starters, the 1st place Landers will be taking on last year’s Korean Series champions in the KT Wiz. This isn’t the same Wiz team as last year, as their struggles have them sitting in a disappointing 8th place right now.

The Landers are favored to win Game 1, and don’t be surprised if they’re favored in every game against KT this week.

Next is the heaviest favorite of the day in the NC Dinos taking on the Hanwha Eagles. You might think it’s crazy to see a team who is in dead last favored so heavily over another, but both of these teams have had serious struggles in 2022.

The Kia Tigers are another team who have been playing at a very high level recently. To start off this week, they take on the Doosan Bears.

LG will be looking to get back into second place after Kiwoom jumped over them. They are favored to win Game 1 of the series against the Giants.

Drew Rucinski will be taking the mound for the Dinos on Tuesday, which is why they are heavily favored to beat Hanwha. He has a 1.46 ERA this season, which is as good as you can get really. Nam Ji-min will oppose, who already gave up 4 runs in 4 innings against NC earlier this year.

An Woo-jin will take the mound for the scorching hot Heroes. We will see if the off day messed with their rhythm at all, or just made them stronger. Won Tae-in has been great this year, but Samsung’s offense has been in a slump.

Kia’ offense has been quite the opposite though, scoring 6.2 runs per game in their last 10. Yang Hyeon-jong already faced Doosan once this season and shut them down to just 1 run in 7 innings pitched.

The Lotte vs. LG game is going to be wild. Neither starting pitcher looks appealing to bet on, so you can basically flip a coin with this one. Lotte has more value on the moneyline though.

Our KBO betting picks are 8 for our last 9, so hopefully we can keep the hot streak going. I have these 4 picks that I like the most for Tuesday’s slate.

Although the Landers should have the upper hand on Tuesday, the under looks like a decent bet too. Wilmer Font (2.18 ERA) and Ko Young-pyo (3.15 ERA) are both great pitchers. KT’s offense is also scoring just 3.5 runs per game in their last 10 (8th best).

SSG’s offense has been better recently, but Young-pyo pitched 8 innings and allowed just 3 runs against them earlier this year.

Kiwoom is the hottest team in the league and is sending a reliable An Woo-jin to the mound. Samsung’s offense has struggled, which should give the Heroes a chance to make it 7 straight games with a win.

Kia’s offense has been the best in the league in 2022 and they’re sending Yang Hyeon-jong to the mound.
