Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Tuesday, May 24th, 2022

After an off day on Monday, our KBO picks are back. This week should be an exciting one with lots of interesting matchups across the board. The standings are as close as ever, but the SSG Landers are still in first place with a 4 game lead.
Oddly enough, every single team in the KBO had a winning or losing streak snapped on Sunday. Coming into this week, every team will either be on just a one game winning or losing streak. That’s a big indicator of how competitive the league is right now.
With that being said, let’s take a look at Tuesday’s KBO odds and see which teams we should be betting on.
KBO Odds for Tuesday, May 24th, 2022
- Doosan Bears (-210) vs. Hanwha Eagles (+160), O/U 8.5
- KT Wiz (+105) vs. NC Dinos (-135), O/U 9.5
- Kia Tigers (-120) vs. Samsung Lions (-110), O/U 8.5
- Kiwoom Heroes (+120) vs. LG Twins (-155), O/U 8.5
- Lotte Giants (-210) vs. SSG Landers (+160), O/U 7.5
Here are the KBO odds for each of the 5 games on Tuesday.
The Doosan Bears have struggled a bit recently and dropped all the way to seventh place, which is another representation of how tight the league standings are right now. They went 3-6-1 in their last 10 games, but they have an easier series to start their week against the Hanwha Eagles.
Speaking of the NC Dinos, they get matched up with the KT Wiz this week and are actually favored to win. The Wiz have been struggling this season after winning last year’s Korean Series. They are in 8th place (19-24), but maybe an easier 3-game series with NC can get them going in the right direction.
Kia and Samsung are clashing at a perfect time. Both teams have been hot over the last few weeks, so it will be interesting to see how these teams go at it over the next 3 games.
LG and Kiwoom have also been doing very well this year. They are in 2nd and 3rd place respectively, so this will be a big series.
The Landers will be taking on the Giants as well, but Lotte is favored to win Game 1 with odds from Bovada.
KBO Predictions for Tuesday’s Games
- Doosan Bears Over Hanwha Eagles
- NC Dinos Over KT Wiz
- Kia Tigers Over Samsung Lions
- LG Twins Over Kiwoom Heroes
- Lotte Giants Over SSG Landers
These are my KBO predictions for each of the 5 games on Tuesday. Series openers always tend to be a little whacky, so keep that in mind when building your betting sheets.
Doosan is the superior team in the matchup with the Hanwha Eagles. The Bears should be delighted to have them on their schedule for the next 3 games so they can get back into their winning ways.
Gwak Been has been very solid in 2022 with his 2.82 ERA, so don’t pay attention to his 1-4 record. Hanwha will be sending Kim Min-woo to the mound, who was already beaten by the Bears earlier this year (6 runs, 5 earned in 6 innings pitched).
The Kia and Samsung game is going to be airtight. Both teams are 7-3 in their last 10 games, but Kia’s run differential has an average of +1.7 in their last 10. Samsung’s run differential in that span is just +0.4, so Kia’s been a bit hotter.
Kim Yun-sik shut out the Heroes in 6 innings earlier this year, while Jeong Chan-heon gave up 5 runs in 6 innings against the Twins. That should give the Twins the edge in Game 1.
Even though the Landers have been the best KBO team this year, the Lotte Giants should have the edge with ace Charlie Barnes on the mound with his 2.04 ERA.
Top KBO Betting Picks to Target for 5/24/2022
We were able to go 3 for 3 on Sunday in our last KBO betting picks, so hopefully we can get a nice little streak going. These games should be pretty interesting, so I’m expecting a lot of them to be very close and could go either way.
With that being said, I like these 3 bets the most out of Tuesday’s slate.
The Doosan Bears could be feeling the pressure in 7th place, even though they’re just 1.5 games out of 3rd. Hanwha is a vulnerable team and has been terrible all year. The fact that the Bears have already seen Kim Min-woo this season and did very well against him should mean they have an even higher chance of winning this game.
Their moneyline odds aren’t that appetizing at (-210), so taking their -1.5 run line at (-125) should have more value to it.
The Twins benefit from a pitching advantage on Tuesday as well with Kim Yun-sik on the mound. He did very well the last time he saw Kiwoom, while Jeong Chan-heon can’t say the same about LG.
LG should have the edge and their -1.5 (+130) run line looks to have some nice value to it as well. Whenever Charlie Barnes pitches for the Giants, you have to take a look at the under. He had a bad outing in his last game, but his ERA is still incredible at 2.04.
He should be much better this time out and the under also has plus odds right now.
Be sure to place your bets on the best KBO betting sites for Tuesday’s games.
