Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Tuesday, June 14th, 2022
Welcome back to our daily KBO picks as we head into Tuesday this week. Hopefully, you enjoyed the day off on Monday, but we are right back in action. Tuesday’s KBO odds are live, which means it’s time for us to break down today’s slate and make our KBO predictions.
As we approach the halfway point of the 2022 season, the SSG Landers remain at the top of the standings. They haven’t been performing as well as they were earlier this season, but they’ve been able to stay afloat.
The Landers are 3.5 games ahead of the Kiwoom Heroes, who went on a tear over the last couple of weeks. Kiwoom will be looking to close in even more on first place, while the Landers try to gain more distance.
Let’s see what Tuesday’s KBO betting odds are looking like from the following sites.
KBO Odds for Tuesday, June 14th, 2022
- Lotte Giants (-228) vs. Hanwha Eagles (+188), O/U 8
- Doosan Bears (+146) vs. Kiwoom Heroes (-176), O/U 8
- Samsung Lions (+109) vs. LG Twins (-139), O/U 7
- SSG Landers (+101) vs. KT Wiz (-131), O/U 8
- Kia Tigers (TBA) vs. NC Dinos (TBA), O/U (TBA)
Here are all of the KBO odds for Tuesday’s games from BetOnline. It’s a brand new week this week, so each team will be looking to start it off on the right foot.
A team like Lotte is especially looking to turn things around after a recent rough patch. They dominated the Wiz 13-0 on Sunday but lost 4 of their last 5 before that. The Giants will be happy to see the last-place Eagles on their schedule for the next three games.
Kiwoom’s KBO betting odds for Tuesday have them favored over the Doosan Bears. They are 7 games ahead of the Bears in the standings, but the Bears are still a tough opponent. The Heroes’ home record is also pretty unimpressive at 13-15-1 compared to their road record of 23-9.
The Wiz have been playing well as of late, going 6-2-2 in their last 10. They are actually favored to beat the Landers on Tuesday, despite being 11 games behind them in the standings.
The KBO odds for Kia vs. NC should be coming out later, so make sure you keep an eye out for those. The weather could postpone that game and the Lotte vs. Hanwha game as well.

KBO Predictions for Tuesday’s Games
- Lotte Giants Over Hanwha Eagles
- Kiwoom Heroes Over Doosan Bears
- Samsung Lions Over LG Twins
- KT Wiz Over SSG Landers
- NC Dinos Over Kia Tigers
Here are my KBO predictions for today’s series openers.
Charlie Barnes is one of the top pitchers in the KBO with a stellar 2.60 ERA. He’s faced Hanwha once this season and shut them out in 6 innings while striking out 10 batters. Yun Dae-kyung was also terrible against Lotte when he faced them back on 5/14, allowing 6 runs in just 5.2 innings.
Lotte was struggling over the last few weeks, but Barnes on the mound and their recent 13-run offensive outburst can be their sign of turning things around.
The Heroes always have a good chance of winning with Eric Jokisch on the mound. He has a 2.72 ERA this season and held Doosan to just 2 runs in 6 IP earlier this season. Park Shin-zi was able to beat Kiwoom earlier this year (5.1 IP, 1 ER), but is mostly a bullpen pitcher. That could be tough to rely on, so I’ll take Kiwoom as one of my KBO betting picks for Tuesday.
The Landers and Wiz game could go either way. Both Lee Tae-yang and So Hyeong-jun are pitchers with a sub-3.00 ERA. So Hyeong-jun recently dominated SSG though, holding them to just one run in 7 innings.
Kim Jeong-bin is mostly a bullpen pitcher for Kia and will be starting, so you might want to steer clear. Lee Jae-hak was also shelled by the Tigers when he faced them last, but he’s improved a bit recently.
Top KBO Betting Picks to Target for 6/14/2022
Here are my top 3 KBO betting picks for Tuesday this week.
The Kiwoom Heroes should have the upper hand over the Bears on Tuesday. Erik Jokisch is a much more reliable pitcher than Park Shin-zi. Park Shin-zi has made just one appearance as a starting pitcher this year, which isn’t a good sample size.
His ERA this season is not impressive at 6.05 and his career ERA is 5.82 as well. He did well against Kiwoom earlier this season, but he’s not consistent. Doosan’s bullpen has also been slacking, so they might not be able to help out either.
Jokisch has made 12 starts in 2022, allowing more than 3 runs just twice. He did lose to Doosan earlier this year, but he has a strong chance to bounce back on Tuesday.
The run line seems too low at 7 for the Lions and Twins game. That’s why I’m taking the over for one of my KBO predictions. LG is averaging nearly 7 runs per game (6.4) by themselves over their last 10 games. Not to mention Samsung averaged 4.8 runs per game in that span as well.
Suarez and Plutko are two decent pitchers, but they were both rocked the last time they faced each other’s teams. Plutko gave up 4 runs in 5.2 innings against LG, while Suarez has allowed 7 runs in 12.1 innings (2 starts).
The last of our last expert KBO picks will be the under in the Landers and Wiz game. Lee Tae-yang has a 2.68 ERA in 2022, while So Hyeong-jun has a 2.85 ERA himself. SSG’s offense has been slowing down, while KT’s offense has been quiet for the majority of this season.
