Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Sunday, June 12th, 2022

It’s the last of the week to make our KBO picks, as Monday is the usual day off. We are over a third of the way through this season, so these games are going to be more important every day. We had a decent day yesterday with our KBO predictions, so we will look to continue that into Sunday.

The Landers will be looking to get a much-needed sweep over the Hanwha Eagles, as their lead on the rest of the pack isn’t as strong as before. Kiwoom crept within 2.5 games of SSG, but the Landers extended it to 3.5 with a win yesterday.

Sunday’s KBO betting odds are live for this week. Let’s break down each game before we make our KBO predictions for who wins each game, and best bets to place as well. We will be using the following sites that provide KBO odds for us every day.

After winning the first two games of their series, the Landers should be favored over the Eagles again. They’ve outscored them by 9 total runs in those two games and are 5-3 against the Eagles in the season series. Be on the lookout for these odds to come out later today.

The Wiz extended their winning streak to 3 in yesterday’s win over the Giants. They were hovering towards the bottom of the standings for a while, so it’s good to see the reigning champs doing better.

Doosan and LG have split their series to a game apiece, which is fitting considering their head to head record this year is 4-4. Whoever wins this game will win the series and have the better head to head record in 2022.

For the last game on our KBO betting odds for Sunday, we have the Kia Tigers favored to beat the Kiwoom Heroes. These two teams have also split their series so far, with the Heroes winning Game 1 and the Tigers winning Game 2.

Don’t take my first KBO prediction too seriously, because there is some serious risk for this one. The Landers will be sending 20-year-old Jeon Young-jun to the mound, who has just 1 career inning pitched in the KBO (1 ER).

Nam Ji-min will be the opposing starting pitcher, who isn’t going to be more intriguing with his 6.89 ERA in 2022. If you like to roll the dice, this game is for you.

I feel a lot more comfortable making my next KBO baseball prediction, which will be the Wiz over the Giants.

The Dinos and Lions’ game is basically the opposite of the Eagles and Landers. Drew Rucinski and David Buchanan have been incredible for their teams in 2022. Rucinki’s start against Samsung was more impressive than Buchanan’s against NC earlier this year, but they are both capable of shutting each other’s teams down.

Doosan should have a major starting pitching advantage over the Twins with Robert Stock on the mound. Stock has a great 2.70 ERA in 2022, while Lim Jun-hyeung is far from him at 5.46.

For my last KBO prediction for today, I’m taking the Tigers over the Heroes. Han Seung-hyuk pitched very well against the Heroes on April 24th (7 IP, 2 ER), while Jeong Chan-heon (4.57 ERA) has yet to face Kia this year.

I have 4 KBO betting picks for you today instead of the usual 3. There’s an off day after these games, so why not add in one more pick.

The first of my KBO betting picks for Sunday is going to be the KT Wiz beating the Lotte Giants again. They’ve beaten them in the first two games of the series and have a strong chance for a sweep.

Although David Buchanan has been great this year, Drew Rucinski has just been flat-out better. He has a lower ERA, has allowed fewer hits, has more strikeouts, and has fewer walks. NC’s bullpen also has the upper hand here too.

Nobody has a better pitching advantage than the Bears with Robert Stock against Lim Jun-hyeung. Lim Jun-hyeung faced Doosan once already and gave up 4 runs (3 earned) in just 3.2 innings.

Neither pitcher in the Kiwoom vs. Kia game has been impressive in 2022. Both offenses have been though, so that’s why the over looks good for Sunday. It’s a bit high at 9.5, but they scored 16 combined runs in Game 1 of this series.
