Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Saturday, June 11th, 2022
Our daily KBO picks are back for another day as we head into Saturday this week. It will be Game 2 of the series across the league, as things are as competitive as ever. There has been a stalemate between the SSG Landers and Kiwoom Heroes at the top of the standings.
The Landers have been holding on to first place by 2.5 games for a couple of days in a row. However, Kiwoom’s recent surge wasn’t enough to launch them to the top of the standings. They’ll look to continue their impressive stretch after Friday’s win over the Tigers.
NC has the league’s best winning streak at three games, as they have finally climbed over the Eagles and out of last place. Let’s look at Saturday’s KBO betting odds from the following sites.
KBO Odds for Saturday, June 11th, 2022
- Hanwha Eagles (+254) vs. SSG Landers (-314), O/U 8.5 – Odds from BetOnline
- KT Wiz (-169) vs. Lotte Giants (+139), O/U 8
- NC Dinos (-105) vs. Samsung Lions (-125), O/U 9.5
- Doosan Bears (+104) vs. LG Twins (-134), O/U 9
- Kiwoom Heroes (+109) vs. Kia Tigers (-139), O/U 8
The Landers may have the league’s best record, but they’re 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. That’s tied for worst in the KBO so they could be a bit unpredictable right now. Be sure to keep that in mind when making your KBO picks for Saturday.
KT has been on the opposite end, going 6-2-2 in their last 10 games. Could they finally be busting out of the slump they’ve been in all year? The Giants probably aren’t excited to be playing the league’s hottest team while simultaneously being the league’s coldest team.
The Dinos dominated the Lions yesterday 9-1. Our KBO predictions had them winning yesterday with the under, but they went over by just one run. So hopefully, we can sharpen things up for our Saturday KBO betting picks.
Kiwoom and Kia are facing off again for our final game on Saturday’s slate. Kia’s KBO betting odds favor them over the Heroes as they look to even the series up.
These KBO odds are available on BetOnline, which is offering a welcome bonus of 60% (up to $1,000 of your first deposit. So head on over there to place your KBO picks for Saturday.
KBO Predictions for Saturday’s Games
- SSG Landers Over Hanwha Eagles
- KT Wiz Over Lotte Giants
- NC Dinos Over Samsung Lions
- LG Twins Over Doosan Bears
- Kiwoom Heroes Over Kia Tigers
Here are my KBO predictions for who wins each game on Saturday.
For my first pick, I have the Landers beating the Eagles again. Wilmer Font is the projected starter for the Landers, and he’s been great this season. Font has a 2.03 ERA and has pitched 7 innings in his last 6 games in a row.
Kim Min-woo will take the mound for the Eagles, who has not been nearly as impressive as Font (5.90 ERA). The Landers should have a great chance of winning due to the pitching matchup, despite not playing their best right now.
Shin Min-hyeok has been pitching well as of late for the Dinos, going at least 6 innings in 5 straight starts. He’s held his opponent to 3 runs or less in all of those starts. Won Tae-in will be going for Samsung, who has given up 9 earned runs in his last 9.1 innings.
Choi Seung-yong has not been good as a starter for Doosan this year. He also has allowed 13 runs in his last 13.1 innings. Kim Yun-sik isn’t the best pitcher to rely on, but LG’s should still have the upper hand here.
Both starting pitchers for the last game are very tough. I’ll take the Heroes for my KBO prediction, but this game could go either way.
Top KBO Betting Picks to Target for 6/11/2022
That brings us to our top 3 KBO betting picks for Saturday.
The Landers should have a solid chance to win against the Eagles with Wilmer Font on the mound, but their (-314) moneyline is not worth it. Their offense is too unreliable right now, scoring a league-low 2.6 runs per game in their last 10.
Instead, the under should be able to work here. Kim Min-woo faced the Landers earlier this season and posted a quality start (6 IP, 3 ER). If he has another strong effort, the Landers won’t be able to score a lot. Add in the fact that Wilmer Font has been incredible this season, and you have a strong under bet.
It just makes sense to bet on one of the better teams, beating one of the worst teams. So that would be the KT Wiz beating the Lotte Giants. 9 of Ko Young-pyo’s 11 starts this year have been quality starts, and he’s only given up 4 runs in his last 21 innings.
Na Gyun-an has been unreliable and bounced around between the starting rotation and the bullpen. In his last two starts, he’s given up 10 runs in just 7.1 innings.
For my last KBO prediction, I am rolling with the over in the Bears and Twins game again. It worked for us for our KBO picks yesterday, so why not try it again.
Both starting pitchers have ERAs north of 4.60, and both teams are scoring 6+ runs per game in their last 10.
