Picks and Predictions for KBO Games – Friday, April 29th, 2022

Welcome back to our KBO picks for Friday, as we try and enter the weekend on a high note. We had a great night last night and went 4 for 5 on our winner predictions and swept our 3 KBO best bets.

The only game we did not predict correctly was the NC Dinos upsetting the Doosan Bears. That means we have to keep trying to get ourselves a perfect 8 for 8 day.

Not a whole lot of movement in the standings again, except for the LG Twins overtaking the Doosan Bears for second place. The Landers remain at the top despite their 4-1 loss to the Lotte Giants yesterday.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at the KBO odds for Friday’s slate.

This is the last series between the teams that have yet to face each other in the 2022 season. After this series, there will be familiar faces for the rest of the year.

The Bears and Landers series will be the best series over the next three days. SSG is sitting in first place, while the Bears are in third and will be trying to close the gap. That’s also the highest run total out of any Friday game.

That should be the most exciting game to bet on, so make sure you get in on the action.

The Wiz had a bad start to their 2022 season, but have finally gained some steam. They face a tough Heroes team for the next three games. Kiwoom is 13-10 and in 5th place, so they’ll be trying to improve themselves.

Lotte and LG is also a great matchup on par with SSG vs. Doosan. They’re series clash starts with the Twins being slightly favored to win Game 1.

Samsung and Kia are both in the bottom half of the standings, so they’ll be looking to climb over each other in this 3 game set.

For my KBO predictions for Friday, I have these teams winning each game.

The Landers have a great chance to start their series with the Bears off right with Ivan Nova on the mound. Nova was shelled in his last start for 9 earned runs (4.2 IP). He should bounce back from that performance and have one like his first three starts. He pitched at least 5 innings and gave up 3 or less runs in each of his first three starts.

The Dinos should have a chance to close in on the Eagles in the standings. They are in sole possession of last, but should have a solid chance to win this game.

Choi Won-tae has looked good for Kiwoom in 2022, but he struggled against the Wiz last year. They scored 5 or more runs in 3 of the 4 times they faced Won-tae in 2021. On the other hand, Um Sang-back took on Kiwoom twice in 2021, holding them to just 4 runs in 11 innings.

Glenn Sparkam (Lotte) has been sharp in 2 of 3 of his 2022 starts. In those two games, he allowed just 1 earned run in 9 combined innings. He goes up against Lim Jun-hyeung, who struggled in his first start last game (3 ER in 3.1 IP).

Samsung is struggling right now, so Kia can take advantage of their matchup.

These are my 3 KBO betting picks for Friday’s games. It’s a bit difficult to know how these teams match up in 2022 without references, so make sure you are being cautious here.

The Dinos have a good chance to beat the Eagles at home. Hanwha struggles on the road more than usual and have a league worst 2-9 away record. Song Myung-gi faced Hanwha 3 times in 2021, allowing 2 runs or less in all three starts.

The head to head matchup between Choi Won-tae and Um Sang-back should mean for a good under bet in the KT and Kiwoom game. Won-tae has looked strong in 2022 with a 1.29 ERA, while Sang-back faced Kiwoom twice in 2021, allowing just 2 runs in each start.
