KBO Predictions and Analysis – Saturday, October 24, 2020

Most KBO games recently have been a feast for the neutral fans and we saw a ton of runs. The action continues this Saturday and there are three encounters on the schedule that were postponed earlier in the season.

I share my KBO predictions for all of them here and I’ve added my reasons for every projected outcome. What you won’t find in this post are odds or betting picks because the leading betting sites are yet to release the lines for the biggest South Korea baseball league.

And here are all games that are included in my KBO predictions for Saturday, October 24.

The NC Dinos have been inconsistent recently and it’s hard to blame them. The team is certainly going to finish first in the standings and earn the top seed for the KBO playoffs. The goal from now on would be to keep the main players healthy and prepare for the postseason.

That’s why the Dinos have lost too many games in the past several weeks and they now face a team that’s fighting hard for the second place in the table.

The Giants are hungry and pushing hard, so they should have the upper hand in the upcoming clash. They are expected to start the better pitcher as well, so that’s enough for me to back them in my KBO predictions for Saturday.

I haven’t been too impressed with the Doosan Bears this week and the team lost two games in a row, allowing a ton of runs in the process. The bullpen has been the main issue because the squad conceded most of them after the starting pitcher was done.

That puts the reigning champions in a bad position for the KBO playoffs and they need to win the next clash. The good news is that the Giants have been shaky recently, mostly because their season is basically over.

If you add the stronger starting pitcher of the Bears, it looks like backing Doosan is the most sensible approach here.

Both teams are out of the KBO playoffs, but the Tigers were close for most of the season, so I believe they are way more disappointed than Samsung. The Lions have been decent in the past month or so, mostly because of their improved offense.

I prefer to back the team that cares more in such games and that should be Samsung. And yet, I’m not too confident in my prediction because of the inconsistent nature of both teams and I recommend you to be careful with any bets on this one.
