KBO Predictions and Analysis – Wednesday, October 21, 2020

We have more postponed South Korea baseball games scheduled for this week on Wednesday. There are three fixtures planned for October 21 and I cover them all in my KBO predictions.

The post includes my thoughts on the potential outcome of every game and my analysis of both sides involved. You won’t find any picks or odds, though, because the leading baseball betting sites are yet to release their lines.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at all encounters included in my KBO predictions for Wednesday.                                                

You would normally expect a win for the Giants against a struggling opponent like the Wyverns, but I’m not sure that’s the case right now. Lotte looked disinterested against the Bears at the start of the week and that’s probably normal for a team that’s playing for nothing.The Giants don’t have a chance to qualify for the playoffs and the Wyverns could take advantage of that. The underdog has shown some glimpses of potential in the past several months and has a somewhat respectable record in October.

It should be a close game, but I believe that SK Wyverns can surprise the Giants and grab the victory on Wednesday.

The Dinos were devastating against the same opponent on Tuesday and won by 13-3. Their offense looked unstoppable and part of the reason is the lack of motivation in KIA’s camp. The Tigers are out of the playoffs and they essentially have no meaningful goals left this season.

I don’t think we will see much better by them in 2020, so the Dinos should be able to win Wednesday’s clash rather easily once again. They are trying to get into some rhythm for the KBO playoffs, so the game could serve as a nice rehearsal.

It shouldn’t be as easy as the opener, but I still prefer to back the league leaders in my KBO predictions for Wednesday.

KT Wiz has been the much better team for the vast majority of the KBO season and is in a tight battle for a better seed in the KBO playoffs. You would expect from Suwon to beat the 8^th-placed side in the league, but the Lions have been dangerous in the second part of the season.

They have improved their offense and they have already beaten some of the best teams in the league. That’s bad news for a Suwon side that has been struggling to hit top form in October.

I believe we will see a close clash on Wednesday and the Lions might be able to prevail over the opposition.
