KBO Predictions and Analysis – Thursday, June 10 (2021)

I must admit that my KBO predictions for the previous round of action in South Korean baseball didn’t perform well, but some teams definitely surprised me with their production.

It’s interesting to see if they can keep it up on Thursday, and I share my expectations for all games based on the latest news and the form of the teams.

Here’s a full list of the fixtures included in my KBO predictions for June 10.

The Samsung Lions failed to beat the struggling Tigers in the second game of the series, and this was among the biggest surprises in the previous round, at least for me.

I’m sure that the favorites will come back desperate for a win in Thursday’s clash, and they will be able to rely on their top starting pitcher in 2021.

David Buchanan has been a monster this season and already has six victories, including one against the Tigers.

Kia’s offense will have a hard time in the upcoming game, and their shaky defense is unlikely to make up for that, so I prefer backing the Samsung Lions.

After losing twice against KT Wiz already this week, the SSG Landers are no longer leading the KBO standings. The team has been on the ropes, and I’m not sure the recovery will come on Thursday.

Oh Won-Seok is expected to get the nod for the Landers, and he’s not a bad pitcher. And yet, he can’t compare with Odrisamer Despaigne, who’s been excellent since the start of the campaign.

On top of that, KT Wiz is the team with the stronger offense, and I expect another victory on Thursday.

I’ve picked the Dinos twice against the Twins this week, and they lost on both occasions. Still, the games were relatively close, and I still think that the reigning KBO champions won’t be empty-handed once the series is over.

They are bringing the heavy artillery for the last clash, and Drew Rucinski is expected to start. Since the start of the season, the American has been very good, and he has the stronger offense behind his back.

The Twins will start one of their more inconsistent pitchers, so I believe they will be in trouble this time around. It should be relatively close once again, but I believe that the NC Dinos will finally beat LG.

The Doosan Bears had an amazing run in the last three innings of the previous round, scoring eight runs to secure an impressive comeback against the Giants.

I’m pretty sure the third game won’t be that wild because it’s Choi Won-Joon’s turn in the rotation.

His stats are awesome, and the Bears have a much stronger offense than the Giants, so I prefer picking them in my KBO predictions for Thursday, June 10.

The Kiwoom Heroes had a solid second clash against the Hanwha Eagles, and it looks they have the momentum in the series.

The offense looked good, and the pitchers did a solid job as well. I expect something similar on Thursday, mainly because of the team news.

Han Hyun-Hee should be able to lead his team to another victory. The pitcher has a 5-1 record on solid stats and already beat the Eagles earlier in the season.

It’s interesting to see how Hanwha’s starter performs. Yun Dae-Kyung received a chance to enter the rotation after serving mostly as a reliever and was instantly punished in his second clash. I don’t think that he can stop the Heroes, so that’s my selection.
