KBO Predictions with Analysis – Saturday, June 26 (2021)

The weekend starts with another round of South Korean baseball that will bring us six exciting games. If you are surprised by the number, that’s because we have an additional clash that was postponed in the previous round.

The LG Twins and the Samsung Lions didn’t face each other because of the rainy conditions, so they will play twice on Saturday.

I cover the early clash between them and all of the other four encounters in my KBO predictions for June 26. The goal is to help our readers that bet on Korean baseball.

Here’s a full list of the games I’ve included.

The Kiwoom Heroes have looked strong recently and the next game against the Kia Tigers should be easy for them.

The Tigers are unlikely to score many runs in this encounter and I don’t think that their defense can get the job done either. They are starting a guy with five defeats and awful stats, so Kiwoom’s offense should have a field day on Saturday.

The previous game between KT Wiz Suwon and the Hanwha Eagles was ended after five innings because of bad weather. The favorite was ahead at the time and that was enough for a victory.

I believe that KT Wiz should be on top in the second clash too. The team is expected to send a fairly decent starer and already has six wins and only two defeats against the same opponent in 2021.

One of those losses came against Ryan Carpenter who’s getting the nod for the Eagles once again, but the offense of the side and the bullpen are just too shaky right now. Even if the American performs well, KT Wiz should be able to break the Eagles.

Before I share my KBO prediction for this clash, let me remind you that I’m talking about the earlier encounter between these two teams. There will be a second one that I haven’t included here for obvious reasons.

With that in mind, let’s start with the pitchers. The Samsung Lions have the upper hand when it comes to the starters, but the Twins are sending a decent player too and have the stronger bullpen.

On the other hand, Samsung’s offense has been more prolific and the side has a 4-2 advantage in the H2H stats for 2021. It should be close, but I think that the Lions should be able to prevail in this one.

I don’t know what’s going on with the Doosan Bears, but the team is in a tough spot right now.

Kim Min-Gyu has been struggling big time in 2021 and has a 6.39 ERA, so you can’t really expect him to contain the Giants.

A quick look at the H2H stats even shows that Lotte is ahead for 2021 which came as a surprise to me. It seems like the Giants simply have Doosan’s number, so another victory might be on the cards for Saturday.

The opening game between the Dinos and the Landers is probably the most entertaining one since the start of the KBO 2021 campaign!

Both sides traded blows for a few hours before the reigning champions won by 11-10 after scoring three runs in the last inning!

Can this victory spark a turnaround in NC’s season? I believe that could be the case and Saturday’s clash can give us a hint if that’s going to happen.

Both sides will be sending shaky pitchers, so another wild game is the most likely scenario. I trust the Dinos more under such circumstances, but it could go either way.
