Week 3 Monday Night Football brings the biggest game of the season thus far, as the reigning champs Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

We are about to see the clash of the last two NFL MVP Award winners. Also, this is the battle of the two strongest favorites to win the Super Bowl LV.

Monday night will be a joy to watch with a couple of magicians under center, so here’s the best Chiefs vs. Ravens betting pick along with the latest odds update and betting tips.

Chiefs vs. Ravens Odds

Chiefs +3.5 -115
Ravens -3.5 -105
Chiefs to Win +160
Ravens to Win -180
Over 53.5 -110
Under 53.5 -110

The Ravens are listed as 3.5-point favorites on the vast majority of sportsbooks, while some set the hosts at exactly three points. Anyway, it’s a tricky line, and this clash could be easily decided by three or fewer points.

Last year, the Chiefs covered a 4.5-point spread at home, beating the Ravens 33-28, as the clash easily went in the over of a 52.5-point total. Back in 2018, the Chiefs won 27-24 as 6.5-point favorites with a total of 48.5 points.

Kansas City Chiefs

After a convincing 34-20 victory at home over the Houston Texans in the opening game of the season, the Chiefs barely avoided an upset in Week 2 and needed overtime to beat the LA Chargers 23-20 on the road.

The Chiefs overcame an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit in California thanks to another clutch performance by Patrick Mahomes. The 2018 MVP champ completed only 27 of his 47 passing attempts, but he was a key guy down the stretch, making some incredible plays including a 54-yard TD pass to Tyreek Hill.

However, the Chiefs have a lot to learn from this victory. They struggled against the Chargers’ D for most of the game, while their defense allowed 183 rushing yards and 479 in total.

Baltimore Ravens

As well as the Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens are 2-0 on the season, but they’ve had absolutely no problems to beat their opponents. The Ravens thrashed of the Cleveland Browns 38-6 at home in Week 1, while they dominated the Houston Texans in a 33-16 road victory this past Sunday.

Baltimore continues to torture its rivals on the ground. The Ravens racked up 230 rushing yards in Houston while surrendering only 51 in a return. Lamar Jackson and Gus Edwards combined for 26 carries and 127 yards, and Mark Ingram added nine totes for 55 yards and a TD.

The Ravens’ defense and special teams are doing a great job at the start of the season. L.J. Ford recovered a fumble and returned for a touchdown against the Texans, while the Ravens limited the Browns’ offense to just 306 total yards.

Chiefs vs. Ravens Betting Pick

There’s no easy money in games like this one, and it’s always tough to go against the reigning champions, but I have to take the Baltimore Ravens to win straight up at -180 odds.

First, I think the Ravens will destroy the Chiefs on the ground. Kansas City showed some flaws in the opener, while the Chiefs were helpless against the Chargers’ rushing. I don’t see how the Chiefs are going to slow down the Ravens, but maybe they have some secret plan.

Second, the Ravens’ defense looks ready for this challenge, and the Chiefs will be in big trouble if they fail to establish some kind of balance on the offensive end. I’m a big fan of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ passing offense, but that won’t be enough for a win in Baltimore.

The Ravens are 7-1 straight up in their last eight home games, while the Chiefs have dropped two of their previous three road contests when listed as underdogs.
