Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Ciryl Gane Betting Preview – UFC Fight Night (February 27, 2021)
A big-time brawl between Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Ciryl Gane serves as the main event for UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Gane this Saturday, February 27.
The bout, which goes down at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, promises to be a heavyweight war.
Bt that’s not what the betting line for Rozenstruik vs. Gane suggests, given that it favors the Frenchman. I’ll be giving you my thoughts on that a little later, as well as looking at the best bets for the fight.
Let’s kickstart my Rozenstruik vs. Gane pick and predictions for UFC Fight Night with who wins the bout.
Rozenstruik vs. Gane – Who Will Win?
- Jairzinho Rozenstruik to Win by KO/TKO
Rozenstruik is being overlooked in this fight, and that makes him a very dangerous proposition.
The Surinamese knockout artist is an absolute monster, and to head into a fight with less pressure on his shoulders is enough to get him rubbing his hands together.
Gane is a savage with huge potential. But as I explain in more detail later, my Rozenstruik vs. Gane predictions are not in his favor.

The Odds for Rozenstruik vs. Gane
Looking at the best odds for Rozenstruik vs. Gane, I was somewhat surprised to see the top UFC betting sites online making Rozenstruik, the underdog in this fight.
Bigi Boy takes a record of 11-1into the fight, with his only loss in MMA coming against Francis Ngannou. Given Ngannou’s habit of putting almost everyone he fights on their back, I wouldn’t take that KO loss too much to heart.
The odds for Gane to beat Rozenstruik are overpriced, in my opinion. Ergo, my pick for Rozenstruik vs. Gane is influenced by the line as it is right now.
Yes, Gane is 7-0 and knocked out Junior dos Santos in his last fight. But he was taken the distance by Tanner Boser before that. The same Boser that was beaten by Andrei Arlovski.
If it’s not already obvious, the betting value in this fight is with Rozenstruik’s odds.
Best Bets for Rozenstruik vs. Gane
- Rozenstruik to Win +225
- Rozenstruik to Win by KO/TKO (N/A)
The best Rozenstruik vs. Gane bets online are the two above.
At those odds, Rozenstruik to win is a great value. The former kickboxing star is excellent value, given he holds the cards when it comes to power and experience.
The UFC oddsmakers fancy Gane to keep his unbeaten record, regardless. But Rozenstruik to win is a great bet for anyone placing real money bets on the UFC this Saturday.
You will have noticed that I have opted for just two bets this week. One is Rozenstruik to win, and the other is for him to win by KO/TKO.
Unfortunately, the odds for Rozenstruik to win by stoppage were not available at the time of writing. But they are bound to be worth a shot.
Why Rozenstruik Beats Gane
I’ll guess the majority of expert Rozenstruik vs. Gane picks from fighters and pundits will mention the odds for the fight.
And as much as I am critical of those odds, I do like Ciryl Gane as a fighter. He has big potential but is still a little raw.
Rozenstruik, however, is the better striker and certainly carries more power in his shots.
Not only does he hit harder, but Rozenstruik is also the craftier striker. For this reason, it’s not difficult to see him posing big problems to Gane. If he can keep the fight on the fight, I think Rozenstruik’s odds could look amazing on Saturday night.
Gane is nowhere near proven enough to carry odds like this into a fight. He might make dirt of that statement on the night, but right now, Rozenstruik is the fighter that makes the most sense.
If you are betting on Rozenstruik vs. Gane, I’d suggest taking Bigi Boy for the KO/TKO.
And That’s All for Now
My predictions for Rozenstruik vs. Gane have the former walking away with the win.
The odds for the fight are a little lopsided, and I can’t put my finger on what the online UFC betting sites are thinking here.
I’m happy with my pick for Rozenstruik vs. Gane and expect to see the Surinamese fighter emerge with the win on the night. His power could see this fight stopped as early as the first.
We have some more big fights coming up over the next few weeks. Some of the biggest go down at UFC 259 next weekend.
I’ll leave you with something to get you excited for those!
