Indiana Grand Race Course Picks – Tuesday, October 13, 2020

I’ve taken a look at the three richest races at Indiana Grand Race Course for Tuesday and figured out who should win or at least see a paycheck at the finish line.
Remember that you can always find the entire slate of Indian Grand races today with a visit to one of our recommended online horse racing betting sites.
To get you started, however, let’s first have a look at my Indiana Grand Race Course picks and tips for Tuesday.
Pick for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 2
This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired two-year-olds running a distance of 5-1/2 furlongs for a purse of $35,000.
I’m sticking with the 8/5 morning line favorite here—Benny Boo Boo, with Thomas Pompell in the irons. This colt finished in the money for three of his four starts, his only non-paying run was his first, back in June.
Plenty of longshots in this race, but each deserves those odds, and none are likely to have a surprise happy ending here.
- Win: Benny Boo Boo 8/5
Pick for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 4
This is an allowance race for Indiana-bred and -sired three-year-olds running a distance of one mile on turf for a purse of $37,000.
I’m betting on the 2/1 favorite in this race, as well—Nates Heartthrob, with veteran jockey Deshawn Parker aboard. This three-year-old gelding moneyed seven of his ten career starts.
Lots of longish odds in this field, and one of them might actually cross the finish line early enough for a payday, but the odds aren’t long enough to make the risk worthwhile.
- Win: Nates Heartthrob 2/1
Picks for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 7
This is an allowance optional claiming race for three-year-olds running a distance of 1-1/16 miles on turf for a purse of $32,500.
I’m going with the second-favored (7/2) entry here—Mishko, ridden by Malcolm Franklin. This three-year-old gelding finished in the money three of his seven career starts, winning two of them.
At 15/1, I like Snake Bite, with Albin Jimenez aboard, for a bargain show ticket. This three-year-old colt moneyed four of his six career starts. Not worth an across the board, however—he’s started only once in 2020, back in January, and that was a ninth-place disappointment, so stick with the show bet.
- Win: Mishko 7/2
- Show: Snake Bite 15/1
