Indiana Grand Race Course Picks – Tuesday, November 3, 2020

Indiana Grand Race Course brings us a Tuesday schedule of eleven claiming and maiden races, with a couple of allowance matches added for flavor.
I cover the three richest races at Indiana Grand, but you can always find their full race card — including entries, jockeys, and betting options — at our recommended horse racing betting sites.
Read on for my Indiana Grand Race Course picks and tips for Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
Picks for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 5
This is an allowance race for Indiana-bred fillies and mares three years old and upward running a distance of one mile and 70 yards for a purse of $34,500.
I agree with the morning line here, so my money’s on the 1/1 favorite — Emily Lane, with Deshawn Parker in the irons. This three-year-old filly finished in the money four of her seven career starts, winning one.
At 15/1, Birdie Blue, ridden by Santo Sanjur, looks good for a value show bet. This three-year-old filly moneyed four of her eight starts, winning one.
- Win: Emily Lane 1/1
- Show: Birdie Blue 15/1
Pick for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 6
This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired three-year-olds and upward running a distance of one mile and 70 yards for a purse of $35,000.
I’m backing the 6/5 favorite in this race — All Star Justice, with Eduardo E. Perez aboard. This three-year-old gelding moneyed four of his eight career starts.
As far as bargain show bets go, there are five entries in this race at 10/1 morning line odds or longer — and I don’t see a single one with a realistic shot at finishing in the money here. Shorter version: Save your money.
- Win: All Star Justice 6/5
Picks for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 8
This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired two-year-old fillies running a distance of six furlongs for a purse of $35,000.
I’m sticking with the 2/5 morning line favorite in this race mostly because I can’t find a better alternative: Hope She Can, with Marcelino Pedroza in the irons. This filly moneyed her single career start.
There are four 30/1 longshots in this nine-horse race, and not one is worth the risk of a show bet. Still, there is one hope: the 15/1 Porketta, ridden by Eduardo E. Perez. Like the M/L favorite, Porketta has a single money finish to her name out of three career starts. Show bet only.
- Win: Hope She Can 2/5
- Show: Porketta 15/1
