Indiana Grand Race Course Picks – Tuesday, November 10

| November 9, 2020 3:03 pm PDT

Indiana Grand Race Course’s race card for Tuesday features 11 maiden, allowance, and claiming matches on both the main track and on turf. The three maiden races I review here are all on the main track.

Indiana Grand is open to spectators, so if you attend, expect temps in the upper 70s under cloudy skies, a 20% chance of rain, and winds at a brisk 17 mph.

Just in case you’re unavailable to spectate in person, you can always find Indiana Grand’s entire race card — along with entries, jockeys, M/L odds, and wagering options — at one of our top online horse racing betting sites.

In either case, read on for my Indiana Grand Race Course picks for Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Pick for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 2

This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired three-year-olds and upward running a distance of six furlongs for a purse of $35,000.

I’m backing the third-favored (6/1) Good Eats Cafe, with Deshawn Parker in the irons. This three-year-old gelding finished in the money for one of his four career starts and has respectable speed figures for this field.

There are three longshots in this maiden race, but I don’t believe any of the trio can achieve a money finish here.

  • Win: Good Eats Cafe 6/1

Pick for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 4

This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired two-year-olds running a distance of six furlongs for a purse of $33,000.

I’m going with one of the second-favored entries (there are two at 7/2) for this maiden race — Vice Cop, with Rocco Bowen aboard. This colt has no record of starts, but has performed well in recent workouts — better, in fact, than the morning line favorite.

None of the long-odds entries in this race are likely to finish in the money, so let’s save ours.

  • Win: Vice Cop 7/2

Picks for Indiana Grand Race Course Race 8

This is a maiden special weight race for Indiana-bred and -sired two-year-olds running a distance of six furlongs for a purse of $33,000.

I’m sticking with the 1/1 morning line favorite in this race — Private Union, ridden by Deshawn Parker. This colt moneyed two of his three career starts, which puts him far ahead of the other hopefuls in this field.

At 15/1, C F V Guapo, ridden by Rocco Bowen, looks like a reasonable show ticket. This colt has no starts on record, but his performance in recent workouts is solid, particularly in comparison to his competition.

  • Win: Private Union 1/1
  • Show: C F V Guapo 15/1
