HellRaisers vs. B8 Pick – Wednesday, August 26th, 2020

The group stage of the Omega League: Europe Divine Division ends this week and there are several questions that need answers. Who’s going to finish at the top of Group B is the most exciting among them.

Team Unique currently occupies the first position, but HellRaisers can grab it with a win against B8 today. The opponent still could qualify in the top 3, though, so both sides have something to play for.

I share my thoughts on their chances in this HellRaisers vs. B8 betting preview. It also includes fresh odds, my prediction, and a free betting pick.

We all knew that the HellRaisers and Team Unique are the big favorites in Group B of the Divine Division. Both sides have dominated the opposition and it’s no surprise to see them in a battle for the top spot that’s the only one that leads to the Upper Bracket of the playoffs.

HellRaisers lost the direct clash against Unique in a close match, but the big rival surprisingly lost against Team Empire. That leaves HR in a great position because any victory today would be enough to claim the first position in the group.

The team has beaten everyone else 2-0, looking dominant in the process. We’ve seen different lineups as well, so HellRaisers can apply different strategies. The most preferred ones include a hard carry like Specter, TB, or Faceless Void, but there have been games in which the squad went for pace instead.

I expected more from B8 in the Closed Qualifiers where the team didn’t even make it to the playoffs and looked below par. The struggles continue in the Divine Division. The team has only one victory against the punching bag of the group 5Comrades and got destroyed by Unique and Cyberium Seed.

In theory, two wins in the remaining two matches could be enough to qualify for the next round, but that’s rather unrealistic. I just haven’t seen enough from B8 execution-wise, even when the drafts have been solid.

The team is obviously way behind the best sides in the Divine Division right now and another defeat makes the most sense.

I don’t have doubts that HellRaisers will win this clash and the big question here is if B8 can win even a single game. Based on what we’ve seen so far by both sides, I’m inclined to say that the favorite will have no problems whatsoever.
