Race 4 Prediction and Pick

I’m going with the second-favored (4/1) entry here: Frank First, with veteran jockey Samy Camacho in the irons. This three-year-old gelding moneyed in eight of his 13 career starts, with three of them wins. The favorite has a slightly less impressive record, and while he’s piloted by ace jockey Edgardo Zayas, I don’t think that will be enough to bring it home for the favorite.

I’m betting on the second-favored (3/1) entry here: Bibliana, with Emisael Jaramillo aboard. This filly finished in the money four of her eight career starts, winning three of them. And Jaramillo is the winningest jockey in this race.

With late scratches, I find no long-odds entries worth the risk.

With a lackluster field, it’s important not to undervalue the skill of the jockeys, so in this race, I’m sticking with the 5/2 moneyline favorite: Big Tina. This four-year-old filly moneyed in six of her 13 career starts, with two of them wins. Like I said, lackluster.

Race 7 Tip

All the longer-odds entries in this race are long for a reason. Let’s trust the moneyline here and save our risk-money for later.
