Giants vs. Buccaneers DFS Picks for Monday Night Football – Week 11, 2021

| November 22, 2021 8:36 am PDT

Monday Night Football offers up a likely bloodbath. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to snap a two-game skid to keep pace with the best teams in the NFC, and they get to host the lowly Giants.

New York has been better than their record suggests, but heading out on the road to battle Tom Brady rarely ends well.

You can bet on the game itself, but it might be a bit safer to just build some NFL DFS lineups. If you need a little help in doing so, take a gander at my favorite Monday Night Football DFS picks and sleepers, as well as my top lineup.

Top Captain Picks for MNF in Week 11

  • Tom Brady, QB, Buccaneers ($16.8k)
  • Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers ($15.3k)
  • Daniel Jones, QB, Giants ($14.4k)
  • Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers ($14.1k)

Leonard Fournette is also one of the better options, while Saquon Barkley is in play if he suits up for this one. He would be facing an elite Bucs run defense, however, and he presently is iffy for this one.

I’d stick to the four options listed above. Brady is a lock for me here, as he’s tossed multiple touchdowns in seven of eight games so far in 2021.

He’s probably throwing a couple more (at least) in a must-win game at home tonight. Mike Evans is a solid bet to be on the receiving end of at least one, too, while Godwin is the PPR threat for Tampa Bay.

That trio is going to be hard to get away from. If you agree, running it back with Daniel Jones (or a Giants receiver) makes a lot of sense.

Monday Night Football Fantasy Sleepers

  • Darius Slayton, WR, Giants ($4.8k)
  • Giovani Bernard, RB, Buccaneers ($2.7k)
  • John Ross III, WR, Giants ($600)

NFL DFS Showdown slates can be a pain when there is precious little value. This is certainly a slate where I’d love to have the chance to stack up as many studs as possible, but it could prove difficult.

That said, Slayton feels like a solid try, and you could argue he’s a fine Captain pick to consider.

He only drew one target in his last outing, but he still saw 55% of the snaps. In a game where the G-Men are likely to be trailing (11-point underdogs at BetOnline), I suspect they’ll be throwing quite a bit.

The projected game flow isn’t a great bet to assist Giovani Bernard. He touched the ball twice in Tampa Bay’s last game, too, and that was one they were even trailing throughout.

Bernard is a better punt than Ronald Jones, who didn’t touch the ball once last week.

Ross is a true punt. He costs nothing, but you’re hoping for the one deep shot he gets turns into a long score. New York is getting healthier at wide receiver, as Kenny Golladay is back.

I still think it makes sense to take a stab at a Giants wide receiver in this one, however. The Bucs have been banged up in the secondary and are a bit vulnerable over the top.

Top Week 11 Monday Night Football DFS Lineup

  • CAPTAIN: Darius Slayton, WR, Giants ($4.8k)
  • FLEX: Tom Brady, QB, Buccaneers ($11.2k)
  • FLEX: Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers ($9.4k)
  • FLEX: Daniel Jones, QB, Giants ($9.6k)
  • FLEX: Leonard Fournette, RB, Giants ($10k)
  • FLEX: Tyler Johnson, WR, Buccaneers ($5k)

Slayton is risky in the Captain slot. I don’t think he’s the top play, but he saves me a lot of money, and is still an explosive player with a role.

You can take shots at other Giants players or favor a Bucs player there, but you need to think a little outside the box on Showdown slates.

Slayton has upside, and he gets me the Brady and Godwin stack. Fournette looks to be in a smash spot, too (Giants rank 29th vs. RBs), and Jones paired with Slayton is a good way to run it back from the other side.

I think Mike Evans scores tonight, but he doesn’t have the PPR upside Godwin does. Tyler Johnson is a solid throw-in, too, as Antonio Brown is still out. He’s also seen 5+ targets in consecutive games.

Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, Kenny Golladay, Ka’Darius Toney, and Saquon Barkley all need to be on your radar, but you can’t play everyone.

Hopefully my Monday Night Football DFS picks help you win some money. If you want to profit from this game in other ways, check out the game pick and player props to target below.
