The early days of the LoL 2020 Worlds have given us plenty of food for thought. Several teams have been very impressive and Gen.G is a good example of that. The squad started with a close victory over LGD Gaming before dismantling TSM in round two.

Fnatic is next in line and another win here would put the South Koreans in a commanding position in this group C. It’s going to be an interesting clash and I share my expectations in this Gen.G vs. Fnatic betting preview. The Gen.G vs. Fnatic odds of the leading LoL betting sites show that the South Korean squad is expected to win and that’s only natural based on what we’ve seen so far. And yet, underestimating Fnatic would be a huge mistake.

I’m not sure how to evaluate Gen.G’s performance up to this point. The team has two wins which is fantastic in this group, but both games looked close. And yet, Gen.G barely prevailed despite building an early lead. The second clash against TSM wasn’t much easier. The opponent opened with three kills, but the Koreans got the first three dragons and utilized their advantage to win before the 30^th-minute mark.

The squad’s ability to find clutch kills and quickly turn them into objectives has been excellent up to this point and it might make all the difference in such a close group.

The Worlds started well for Fnatic who won the opening game against TSM on Saturday and looked really strong in the process. The squad was brought down to earth in the second clash against LGD Gaming after a tight battle that was even for more than half an hour before the Chinese team won a crucial fight.

It’s going to be close, but Fnatic needs to build an early advantage over Gen.G because the South Koreans look slightly better in the late stages of their games. If they are playing with a lead, it would be very hard for Fnatic to stop them.

This one is going to be close and I believe that the odds for the winner market are somewhat fair. What looks like a good betting pick is the total kills option. We saw plenty of passive games in this group, so going for under 26.5 makes a lot of sense for the clash between Gen.G and Fnatic.
