Fulham vs West Bromwich Albion Betting – EPL, November 2, 2020
Neither of these clubs has won a single game in the English Premier League so far this season, so this meeting is sure to be a tense affair.
Fulham has only picked up the one point as well, so there will be a huge amount of pressure on manager Scott Parker to oversee a win against West Brom on Monday.
My prediction and betting pick for Fulham vs. West Brom follows.
Fulham vs. West Bromwich Albion Odds
You get the feeling that BetOnline has priced this one as evenly as it has because the bookmaker is not really sure whether either of these clubs has the ability to take a game to its opponents.
Neither has looked particularly good so far this season – so the draw may be the easy way out.
Fulham vs. West Brom Preview
Fulham followed up its only point gain with another defeat at home to Crystal Palace last weekend and it is fast becoming make or break time for Scott Parker. He did bring in some interesting new faces on loan – in the form of Ademola Lookman and Ruben Loftus-Cheek – but they will need to start delivering soon.
It seems as though a lot of the pressure is on the shoulders of Aleksandr Mitrovic up front. If he isn’t scoring goals, then the Cottagers look likely to struggle. He has two in the Premier League so far, but that has hardly made a dent when the defense has conceded so many more down the other end.
West Brom manager Slaven Bilic will be hoping that his forward line can add to Fulham’s defensive woes on Monday. But they have only managed one more than the London club so far this season. The outlook looks a little brighter thanks to two consecutive draws – but the club is still waiting for its first win of the campaign.
It is not as if West Brom has been playing the better sides in the league either. Those draws were against Burnley and Brighton – and if the Baggies are unable to beat that caliber of opposition, they will find the rest of the season an uphill struggle. There are some very good players in the West Brom squad, but it is unclear if they are Premier League class yet.
My Prediction and Betting Pick
West Bromwich Albion to Win+185
Slaven Bilic was very angry this week when defender Ahmed Hegazi was allowed to leave the club. He had been assured that the Egypt international would remain a valued member of the squad. But if Bilic can focus his energy into selecting a forward-thinking team for Monday’s game, he might find that he will be taking three points home with him.
