FlyQuest vs. DRX – LoL Worlds, Sunday, October 11, 2020
Most people believe that Group D of the LoL Worlds Main Event 2020 is pretty clear. Top Esports are expected to finish first and DRX second. The only team that could mess with the Asian giants is FlyQuest and the North Americans face the South Korean powerhouse next.
A win for DRX will pretty much eliminate their opposition, so the stakes in the upcoming match are high. I share my thoughts on the clash in this FlyQuest vs. DRX betting preview that includes the latest odds, my prediction, and a free betting pick.

FlyQuest Performance and Analysis
The first two games of FlyQuest at the Worlds went pretty much as expected. The team lost against the huge favorite in the group Top Esports, before beating the underdog Unicorns of Love. The key clash came on day 4 when the North American side faced DRC for the first time.
They started the game well and kept it close for a while. That’s when a failed engagement around the second Rift Herald gave the opponent a huge advantage and pretty much decided the game. It was a stupid way to lose and I’m sure that FlyQuest will be eager to bounce back.
The big question is how to do that. The squad has to once again start strong and find picks, but they also need to find a way to limit DRX’s ability to farm all across the map. The South Koreans will build a huge lead if you let them, so FlyQuest’s members have to be aggressive.
DRX Team Performance and Analysis
Another win over FlyQuest would allow DRX to keep fighting for the top spot in the group and that’s more than enough of a motivation for the South Korean squad. I’m sure the guys remember the strong start of the opponent last time around and there’s zero chance they underestimate the upcoming clash.
I expect to see a typical DRX performance that will be designed around efficiency. These players know how to make the best out of the jungles and every lane before finding solid spots to take objectives.
It’s a winning style of LoL that doesn’t require too many kills to work and it should be enough to prevail over FlyQuest.
Prediction and Pick
I believe that FlyQuest will try to force more fights against DRX early on and this game could see plenty of kills. That’s why the price of -120 for the game to feature at least 24 of them looks like the best betting pick.
