EuroLeague Predictions and Best Bets – February 26, 2021

There is some wild action to be had in EuroLeague play on Friday. Two games have point spreads over nine points, while the other two project to be tight (within three).

Before you begin to formulate your bets, see who is playing.

The first game is the one everyone will be up for, with Shane Larkin leading Anadolu Efes on the road against Fenerbahce.

That should be a solid game (albeit potentially difficult to call), while the rest of this slate gets a bit more dicey.

I started my EuroLeague betting picks off nicely on Thursday with Valencia obliterating Zenit. I got a nice win ATS (+5.5), but I’m kicking myself for not going harder.

Wins are wins, though, and it’s onward to Friday’s EuroLeague betting slate. If you want to roll with me, read on for my EuroLeague predictions and top betting picks.

Anadolu Efes enters this tough road tilt at 100%. Shane Larkin has rediscovered his MVP form, too. Just look at what he’s done over his last four games.

Yeah, he’s been pretty good.

Larkin’s reemergence has helped Anadolu crack the top-10 in the 2021 EuroLeague standings, and a win here could get them inside the top-5.

Fenerbahce has that same goal, of course. They’re at home and look good with a 15-10 record, while they’re white-hot with an insane 10 straight wins.

All good things must come to an end, though. While Fenerbahce is probably the better team at this point, I smell an upset.

The nightmare season continues for Crvena, who are just 7-18 and have dropped six in a row.

This is a seriously beaten-up team these days. Just look at the guys that are out or questionable going into Friday’s road tilt.

O’Bryant is the absence that really matters, and he’s gone for good after he and the club opted to part ways recently.

Things just aren’t going well for Crvena, who now have to take it to the road to battle a surging Saski Baskonia squad.

Saski Baskonia has won their last three games and should be looking for some revenge after losing the first meeting, 90-73.

Alba Berlin is the odd favorite on Friday, as they host a better Panathinaikos team that destroyed them (92-69) back in round 15.

They’re mostly the favorites for two reasons; they’re at home, and Panathinaikos won’t have top guard Nemanja Nedovic for this one.

This is a big deal since he’s been amazing.

Normally I’d opt to go with the masses here, as losing Nedovic (16.7 points per game) is a big deal. However, Alba Berlin is reeling behind four straight losses, and they’re just 1-10 over their last 11 games.

Panathinaikos will just lean on their collection of giants in this spot, so I love the upset play here.

Lastly, you could really go for the jugular and bet on Asvel to get the huge road upset, as they’re wild 13.5-point underdogs.

Barcelona is also just the better team. Asvel deserves credit for their current six-game winning streak, and most will forget that they actually beat FC Barcelona (80-68) back in round 11.

That’s enough to get me to look at Asvel ATS, but I don’t think they’re winning again.

Shane Larkin is crushing it these days. The road date against Fenerbahce isn’t easy, but it’s a big game for both sides. The spread is too tiny to exploit, so I’ll just hammer Anadolu in as a nice road winner.

The real value lies with Panathinaikos. They’re playing better than they did earlier in the year, and even without their top guard, they should have the advantage against Alba Berlin.

I love that +138 moneyline, and I also can’t get away from the 13.5 spread concerning Asvel. They’re not going to win again, but they are obviously in fantastic form. I think they can give it a go and at least keep this one competitive.
