EuroLeague Predictions and Best Bets – December 4, 2020

After a fun five-game EuroLeague basketball betting slate, fans and bettors alike get four more games to work with on Friday.
Take a look at Friday’s EuroLeague schedule.
- Saski Baskonia vs. Anadolu Efes
- FC Barcelona vs. Zalgiris
- Khimki Moscow vs. Bayern Munich
- Asvel Lyon vs. Real Madrid
My EuroLeague predictions and top betting picks have been quite useful as of late, and I hope to keep the solid advice coming on Friday.
I still suggest picking your spots wisely, as there are always going to be numerous attractive bets when betting on EuroLeague play. For this slate, we get two games that project to be pretty competitive, one that is almost sure to be a beatdown, and honestly four games with the potential to put up a lot of points.
On the surface, there should be some nice opportunity to bet ATS on this slate, while bettors may also be able to target the Under in a few spots.
With that, let’s dive into each matchup specifically and get to my best EuroLeague bets for Friday.
Saski Baskonia vs. Anadolu Efes Predictions
- Anadolu Efes to beat Saski Baskonia
- Predicted total: 155-160
The return of Shane Larkin has been quite good for Anadolu Efes, and it may be time for him to take over the league.
They’re 2-0 in their last two EuroLeague games and 3-1 with him on the floor this year, to the shock of no one.
This is a better team with their best player healthy. Go figure. You have to pay a bit to take them at -256 straight up, but I think they can cover their 5.5-point spread on Friday, too.
Bettors should pay mind to the absence of big man Tibor Pleiss, of course.
He and Bryant Dunston are out, and it will be interesting if this spread can tighten a bit. I might hold out to see if it does before finalizing my EuroLeague bets.
FC Barcelona vs. Zalgiris Predictions
- FC Barcelona to beat Zalgiris
- Predicted total: 145-150
FC Barcelona stands in as the best team in the league at 8-2, and they’ll need to win to stay ahead of CSKA Moscow. I don’t see why they can’t, as this is a pretty good bounce-back spot against a middling Zalgiris team.
Zalgiris is pretty balanced, but they don’t have the defensive aptitude to keep Nikola Mirotic and company in check for an entire game. I like Barcelona across the board here, and their tendency to blow games open probably favors the Under in a contest I doubt ends up being very competitive.
Khimki Moscow vs. Bayern Munich Predictions
- Bayern Munich to beat Khimki Moscow
- Predicted total: 155-160
I have a soft spot for Alexey Shved. He’s a fun talent to watch, but the results just haven’t been there. His shooting is all over the place this year, and he is also turning the ball over too much.
Simply put, he can’t carry Khimki Moscow all by himself. Wade Baldwin IV and Vladimir Lucic form a tough duo that should break a two-game skid in this spot.
This game total (165) is also pretty insane. It’s possible it gets there, but I would just bet the Under in this one.
Asvel Lyon vs. Real Madrid Predictions
- Real Madrid to beat Asvel Lyon
- Predicted total: 155-160
Lastly, bettors should feel good about Real Madrid getting past Asvel Lyon. You can certainly consider Asvel Lyon against the spread (+11.5), though, especially since Real Madrid is down their best playmaker.
Norris Cole and co. have also been heating up lately, with Asvel Lyon ripping off three straight wins. I won’t call for the upset here, but this is a tougher game to peg than it may seem. Asvel Lyon ATS is very interesting in this spot.
Best EuroLeague Bets for Friday, December 4th
- Anadolu Efes (-5.5) -114
- FC Barcelona (-8) -114
- Khimki Moscow vs. Bayern Munich Under 165 (-106)
- Asvel Lyon (+11.5) -105
There you have it, my EuroLeague predictions and top betting picks for Friday, December 4th. You can go with my advice above, but ultimately, I trust Shane Larkin and co.
I do think that the first bet would look nicer if the odds adjust for Anadolu Efes being a bit shorthanded, so if you can wait a little longer to find a slightly better price, that’d be ideal.
That bet still looks good, and I also love FC Barcelona to snap back from a rare loss to crush Zalgiris. The game total in the Khimki Moscow game is also just out of control. It could be that explosive, but betting on the Under just makes more sense.
Lastly, I’m all about betting on Asvel Lyon to beat this thick 11.5-point spread. They’re clicking right now, and Real Madrid just lost Facundo Campazzo to the NBA.
Hopefully, all of my EuroLeague picks treat you well. If you like any shown above, feel free to target them wherever you bet on sports online.
