The Dallas Cowboys visit the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, September 27, in one of the most intriguing matchups of Week 3, as these two NFC foes take on each other for the fourth time in the last four years.

Two seasons ago, the Seahawks beat the Cowboys 24-13 in Week 3, but they suffered a painful 24-22 loss in the wild-card round.

Seattle will search for another Week 3 victory over Dallas this Sunday, so here’s my best Cowboys vs. Seahawks betting pick along with all key tips and betting trends you need to know.

Cowboys vs. Seahawks Odds

Cowboys +4.5 -105
Seahawks -4.5 -115
Cowboys to Win +185
Seahawks to Win -215
Over 55.0 -110
Under 55.0 -110

The Seahawks are coming off a 35-30 home victory over the New England Patriots this past Sunday Night Football. They improved to 2-0 on the season, looking very well on the field, so the bookies listed the Seahawks as 4.5-point favorites in this one.

On the other side, the Cowboys haven’t impressed at all over the first two weeks of the 2020 NFL season, going 1-1 after they were pretty lucky to beat Atlanta 40-39 at home last Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys Analysis

The Cowboys pulled off a magical comeback against the Falcons thanks to a recovered onside kick and Greg Zuerlein’s field goal as time expired. They were down 29-10 at halftime and 36-24 with 14:23 to go in the fourth quarter, but Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to a huge win.

Prescott scored three touchdowns in the second half on his own. He finished the game with 34 completed passes for 450 yards and a TD, while rookie CeeDee Lamb had six receptions for 106 yards including a clutch catch down the stretch that allowed Zuerlein to take the winning shot.

However, the Cowboys showed plenty of defensive flaws and will have to improve as soon as possible if they want to mount a serious playoff challenge. Dallas allowed 20 first-quarter points to the Falcons, and it’s fair to say that the Cowboys’ D was completely outplayed in the first two weeks.

Seattle Seahawks Analysis

The Seahawks put on a tremendous offensive performance last Sunday, racking up 429 total yards against the Patriots’ solid defense. They scored five touchdowns, as Russell Wilson threw five TD passes to five different teammates.

Seattle allowed 464 total yards to the Pats, but the Seahawks’ defense laughed last. With three seconds to go in the fourth, the Pats had a chance to score from a one-yard line, but the Seahawks managed to tackle Cam Newton and secure the victory.

After just two games in 2020, it’s obvious that Russell Wilson is ready to dominate the league once again. Back in Week 1, Seattle dismantled Atlanta 38-25 on the road, and Wilson completed 31 of his 35 passing attempts for 322 yards and four touchdowns.

Cowboys vs. Seahawks Pick

Look after the Seahawks this season, especially if they stay healthy. Seattle’s receiving corps is terrifying, while the Seahawks have great depth in the backfield.

However, their defense is a big issue, but it seems that Pete Carroll doesn’t care as long as his team is scoring more points than their rivals. The Cowboys’ offense is loaded, so I expect to see a proper high-scoring affair at CenturyLink Field this Sunday.

Both teams can control the clock, but their defenses just bag me to take the over.

The under has hit in eight of the last eight encounters between Dallas and Seattle, but the over is 4-1 in the Seahawks’ last five outings, and it is 7-4 in the Cowboys’ previous 11 showings.
