Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens – NFL Week 13, 2020

These sides are struggling as of late as they have both only managed to pick up one win from their last five matches.

The Ravens have been a little unlucky in their four defeats as they have gone down by less than a touchdown on each occasion. They pushed the unbeaten Steelers close last week and they will take a lot of heart from that performance.

The Cowboys have taken a few beatings in their recent losses. But they also pushed the Steelers close in game week nine and even led going into the last quarter.

Dallas beat Baltimore last time out in 2016, however they had lost the previous five head to head matches against them.

Despite both sides dreadful current form the betting is a lot more one sided than you would think.

In saying that, the Ravens should have too much for the Cowboys. But can they cover the spread?

The Cowboys are hoping to lift themselves off of the bottom of the National Football League. However, one win could catapult them to the top of the Eastern Conference which doesn’t say much for the teams in the East!

Dallas will be hoping for a repeat performance of their last away game where they edged out Minnesota 31-28.

The Cowboys are fast starters having taken the lead in their last four matches in a row, they need to do be more resolute to hold onto these leads.

They need to defend better as they are shipping an average of 32 points per game which gives their offence an uphill battle.

Their passing yards going forward read very well as they average over 290. But their rushing yards gained is a measly 111 which unfortunately makes them very predictable.

Despite losing four of their last five games you do have to take into consideration that two of those defeats were a narrow loss to the unbeaten Steelers and an overtime loss to the Titans.

However, after this slump the Ravens do need to start picking up some wins if they want to make a push for the play offs. They will see this game as a good opportunity to do just that.

The Ravens have tended to keep games tight as they only average three hundred and forty six yards gained per match but at the other end only concede an average of three hundred and fifty one yards so discipline is key for them.

Despite their poor form I feel the Ravens should win this game.

Having not won much recently, though, I’m not convinced that they will cover the spread. Play safe and take the Ravens to win.
